Your worldview has already been applied and it has given us San Francisco, where people shit on the streets, nudists walk around with impunity, and homeless drug addicts shoot up heroin on the sidewalks because Liberalism lacks the ability to say “No” to any of these “personal choices”.

The NAP sounds unassailable in the minds of Libertarians because it says that force is justified only against aggression. But what counts as aggression? And who gets to declare what’s “aggressive” in the first place?

The Libertarian says that taxation is aggression.

The Progressive says any restriction on transgender surgeries for children is aggression.

The Conservative says dissolving the country through mass migration and Leftist culture wars is aggression.

By what right does a Libertarian get to declare that their definition of aggression is the only valid one and that the other two are irrelevant?

And perhaps more importantly, why should anyone care what the Libertarian thinks about what constitutes “aggression” when their definition means that there is quite literally nothing you can do except “shame” nudists, drug addicts, and street shitters into not engaging in these obviously self-destructive and degenerate behaviors?

Libertarianism is a dying ideology because it presents itself as refusing to impose morality while actually imposing a very particular form of morality that almost always ends in Progressivism, not Liberty.

It claims to resist coercion while demanding that everyone abide by its own standard for morality and that simply isn’t going to happen any longer. Enough people on the Right have seen through this ploy by now to reject the very premise behind the whole thing.
