That’s alarming. Absa (@AbsaKomal ) is a sane and courageous voice. Information Minister should take notice of all this. Why has she been taken off air..?
Likewise, BOL and every other channel that has failed to pay its staff for months must be held accountable. Regulators and the relevant authorities should investigate these complaints and ensure that journalists and media workers receive their lawful dues.

We journalists raise voice for all the helpless citizens and take their issues to ruling elites but ironically we cannot tell the crisis of low & delayed salaries. And if we talk this happens to us what happened to @AbsaKomal. We are humans and have families and have the same needs like any other common citizen, why we cannot talk about injustice to us. More power to Absa for speaking the bitter reality of media without mincing words. She should be immediately restored on screen and I demand from @riuj2026, @pfujpakistan and national press club of #Islamabad to make it sure she is on air, she came in your camp and speak for you and should not be made to pay the price alone.

A woman from G-7 abaadi who has lived and served the city her entire life from this abaadi is currently facing the risk of evictions. What is the alternative for her? Most people living in these abaadis barely make 30k a month. Where can one rent a house and also pay bills for groceries in this amount within Islamabad?
