While we launched in 5 regions, Lambda Web Functions is now available in all the 17 default AWS Regions.
To get started, see the Lambda Web Functions developer guide: https://t.co/ChInbRwAeO
You can use LocalStack to build your AWS application locally: https://t.co/wujoobhIAm
If you want to see how the LocalStack experience works, join me on this webinar: https://t.co/WQdywBI45p
For any feature requests, please use our public roadmap to document your requirement and use case: https://t.co/fk3IBDwyfy
@RomanHotsiy 1. The scaling on maxConcurrency is dynamic. Once you have traffic the scaling will automatically increase. Let me know if you are not seeing the concurrency increase with time. 2. DM me your account details and I can follow up. Alternatively you can create a support ticket.
Excited to announce the launch of Lambda Web Functions🚀🚀🚀🚀
Easily build and deploy web applications and APIs on Lambda. The active CPU based pricing model works great for functions that need to wait for downstream services.
If you were on the AWS Lambda X Space today (or even if you weren't), here are some resources!

@agam001_@ASpittel Yes, Web Functions have a different Active CPU based pricing model that is beneficial for workloads with network I/O. Additional details available here: https://t.co/CKKzhaZVWf
@Hacksore@ASpittel@papi3r We are tracking/prioritizing additional runtimes. Here is the link to our public roadmap if you want to add your request: https://t.co/eihIzYNsYX
@watcher1905@ASpittel No, its a better way to build web APIs/applications on Lambda with an Active CPU based pricing. You can still use API Gateway as the front door of your application for custom rules/Rate limiting/WAF
Don't Forget we are doing an X Space today on the new AWS Lambda Web Functions. Join @ASpittel (host), @julian_wood, @samrat_karak, and myself as we get in to the nitty gritty of it! 10 AM PT, right here on X!
@rabata_io@edjgeek@ASpittel@julian_wood Join us if you have any open questions. We plan to cover the details on the capabilities/limits and anything not obvious from the documentation.
we’ll chat about some of the new things announced in serverless and also some of the hardest parts of building them either product and engineering leaders! join us at 10!

So I have had a LOT of questions about the new #AWSLambda Web Functions. Sooo, we are going to answer them REALTIME! Starting with a @Reddit AMA with my buddies @julian_wood, @jeffbarr, and @samrat_karak (who is also the primary PM) Thursday morning 7AM - 10AM PT. https://t.co/cUkdpvKwAU
Your Node.js web apps and APIs, built with any framework incl. Express or Hono, can now run on AWS Lambda with no adapter layer and one command to deploy.
AWS Lambda Web Functions launched today. Short intro: https://t.co/cYeMf337Mo
Lambda Web Functions were released today. I got carried away and wrote three blog posts about them.
1: A collection of technical tidbits.
2: They're not actually Node.js-only, you can run Go/Rust.
3: They're cheaper than Event Functions at processing events.
