Following a request, Vyapar Mandal Nerchowk installed protective iron fencing at the home of Mr. Surender Kumar (80% muscular dystrophy).
The fencing will make it much safer and easier for his mother to care for him.

For children with intellectual disabilities and autism, the right learning and therapy tools can make a world of difference. From improving motor skills and sensory integration to encouraging communication, participation and confidence, these resources help create a more engaging and supportive learning environment.

A heartfelt thank you to an anonymous #PromiseBank depositor for extending support to the Day Care Centres for Children with Intellectual Disabilities at Bhangrotu and Ghasnu in Balh, District Mandi, #HimachalPradesh. The support included gym balls, peg boards, brain booster activity books, puzzles, domino games, colour recognition games and fine motor skill development tools.

These resources will become a part of the daily learning and therapy of the 17 children enrolled at the two centres, supporting their overall development.

We also thank SDM Balh, @SamritikaN, for visiting the centres, spending time with the children, and encouraging the efforts of the teachers and staff.

A 56-year-old woman from Mandi, #HimachalPradesh, suffering from severe gangrene in her right leg, required an urgent amputation.

We are relieved to share that the surgery was successfully performed at Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College and Hospital, Nerchowk, under the @AyushmanNHA scheme, making the surgery possible at no cost to the patient.

Our sincere thanks to SDM Balh, @SamritikaN, for her timely support. We are also grateful to the doctors and medical team at SLBSM College & Hospital for their care and efforts.
