@johnR98271945@VictoriaAtkins as opposed to one gas burning plant?
LIterally the opposite of your argument is true, which really makes you question why you said it. How is moscow this time of year yev?
@spectator Nigel Forsale doesn't get to decide the pathway to his own vindication from rule breaking. Which is what he's trying to do.
He's saying "due process will find wrongdoing so lets resolve this by asking my extremely safe seat if they'd reelect me instead".
Its wrong and wasteful
@kjanakiraman74@ajcdeane uuuugh trying to do good things for the majority of Britons as a cheap tactic to win their votes.
Totally at odds with the Tory notion of selling off the silverware for a pittance to your eton school mates for a board seat with an inflated salary and no responsibilities.
@Helen_Whately "We made up a thing that doesn't exist, then voted for some pointless measure that does nothing since it addresses nothing".
Wow thanks for cashing in your salary, expenses and office wages so we could all experience this wonderful work of fiction.
You're all charlatans
@SuellaBraverman Ah so you have no retort then I see. We all agree Nigel is a fraud and untenable as a leader. Is this lack of defending him part of your own ambition to try and take over??
@IanLodge11@tutt_brian@ramonagusta RIchard Tice thinks, and in fact banks on, you being this thick. Please leave the running of things to people who we're in bottom set for every subject and were allowed to sit their olevels ay?
@7Kiwi Ohh now look at the emissions caused by our consumption of goods made overseas rather than domestic emissions.
Ohh now look at how much Oil Gas and Coal we can produce domestically compared to how much we need.
Ohh now look at price per kwh of solar vs oil.
Muppet
@zatzi Which was the last party to pay more than a single penny off of the national debt?
Spoiler alert, it was Labour. Brown ran budget surpluses from 1998 to 2001.
@kevinhollinrake your ilk where in government for 14 long horrible years and you didn't manage to pay down a single PENNY off of the UK debt. You're party is literally finished. If there is something else you'd like to achieve with your short time on earth, I suggest you get on with it.
@ShaunCappsense@TorstenBell what are you talking about, we just saw records wage growth and employee rights get stronger.. Are you so inside a toxic social media bubble you aren't even in touch with reality any more?
@Carriegusewize@TorstenBell when you're actually governing (and Torsten is literally a sitting minister) you have to look forward. They sit something like 750 days in parliament per 5 year government term, so time is of the essence.
@TorstenBell I really hope there's a place for you in the new leadership. I would hope if Ed Miliband moves into the treasury that as a long time collaborator there'd be a valuable place for you. You're part of the real hope of UK politics in my opinion
@KathrynPorter26 Our energy policy is about energy independence and spreading reliance to reduce risk. In many ways it is entangled with defence entirely. We can't have a war with Russia in 2030 and not have a reliable affordable non centralised fuel source.
Renewable, Batteries, Nuclear.π
@MagnumOpus42@TorstenBell@AndyBurnhamGM Yeah damn they'll have a really hard time if they show principle and as a party maintain a leader until election year, or, as a group collectively install someone that is demonstrably more popular with MPs AND the public... Hardly on the ropes is it muppet
@MelJStride Wait, did the 14 years of hurt Tories manage to pay down our debt by a single pound?
I know Tony Blair and Gordon Brown managed to, and you're the fiscally responsible party, aren't you?
