@EspenBarthEide Iran has a right to defend themselves. So if israel can bomb Gaza to hell, Iran should be granted the same right (to try). Don't be a flagrant hypocrite.
During the latest grindadráp in the Faroe Islands, where at least one calf suffered and bled for over a minute before death, tourists were watching from on board a British cruise ship.
During the livestream you can clearly see the pilot whale calf flapping and struggling...
A helicopter was also seen above the drive, but reports that the helicopter took part in the chase is unlikely to be true. In my first tweet i mistakenly quoted a journalist stating that this helicopter did take part, and I was thankfully reminded of this mistake.
Når folk snakker om veganere som om de er importverstinger ler kjøttindustrien hele veien til banken.
I fjor importerte norsk landbruk over 850 millioner kilo kraftfôrråvarer. Dette er 157 kilo per nordmann.
@ColdwoodGame I don't expect a reply, I just wanted to say that I've just finished Unravel Two, and it's one of the most profound and lovely games I've ever played. Thank you for making such a gem <3
Samfunnet: "VOLD ER GALT! FYSJ FOR NOEN AKTIVISTER"
Også samfunnet: "Mmmmm, bacon, vold mot dyr smaker fantastisk!"
OGSÅ samfunnet: "For noen drittaktivister, gi dem juling!"

The bolts on our car was loosened, and one wheel came off. This could have resulted in the death of several activists.

@JacobsenTrygvi@seashepherd@domdyer70@VisitFaroe I honestly enjoy both; misunderstandings about facts can be cleared up, and conversations about values and ideas can help us go further in our lives and understand each others better.
I prefer a conversation above an argument though 😊
𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗢𝗥: "We eat everything"
It's a misconception that the Faroese eat everything edible on the dolphins they kill. They don't. This is the end result after butchering a bottlenose dolphin just a few days ago:

@JacobsenTrygvi@seashepherd@domdyer70@VisitFaroe I'm guessing you've eaten dolphin blubber when it's from the pilot whale (a dolphin), and I'm sure bottlenose dolphins blubber taste differently but it's edible.
Is probably toxic just like pilot whales blubber is.
Glad we can agree on the poorly cut, we see that every time...
@greynotgardens @MilcaVSD @ifarmcarnists @OtherCosmonauta Please don't. As a @seashepherd volunteer working for months every year on the Faroe Islands, I can only say one thing: Language like that, methods like that, rhetoric like that has only ONE consequence: Making it harder for us to create change here.
@JacobsenTrygvi@seashepherd@domdyer70@VisitFaroe Do you mean to say that you don't see all the "meat" left on the animal? If so, you're the dishonest one.
Also, it's edible - it just tastes differently and less appealing (according to every single faroese I've asked about this). Some faroese do eat it.
@h0t_p0ppy@JazzyDolphin Just dumped at sea. They use some of the intestines and similar as fish bait, but I'm quite sure they wouldn't feed polluted pilot whale to their no1 export product...
