Don’t people tire of asking for help from the same person over and over again. Like don’t people think nah, we have asked this one for far too long let’s give him or her a break. I personally HATE asking for help. I even HATE calling in for favours. I’m the kind that would rather not have or suffer if I must. On the rare occasion I reach out for help or call in for a favour, you must know it took me a million years to get to that decision and that I HATE myself for even asking. So you can imagine how I feel when someone asks me to help them REPEATEDLY. I don’t mind helping out once or twice but nee vok maan you can’t keep coming back for more.
This is one of the reasons I hate projects that require sponsorships. Nothing is as demeaning and bruising to one’s self esteem as grovelling for sponsorship. I hate it with all of my being. I swear I was a wealthy kid in my previous life.
PS. As I’m getting older I realise my starting to work at age 14 was not only driven by the prevailing circumstances at home. It was also largely driven by my strong sense of self-reliance.

Another challenge with smaller magistrates’ courts handling high-profile matters is the disparity in experience between senior advocates and the presiding local magistrate.@Sentletse

Today, we lost a consummate journalist, a true professional, a sister and a deeply kind soul. We disagreed, we bantered but most importantly my respect for her was unwavering.
She was passionate, fierce and unyielding in her truth and convictions. It was a privilege to have known her.
Rest in perfect peace, Matshidiso. Your voice and your passion shall live on. 💔
My view:
Floyd Shivambu needs to take a rest.
He made terrible mistakes and should take full responsibility, instead of continuing to claim that joining MK was the best political decision he ever made. It was one of the worst.
South Africans, including prominent figures, publicly warned him that he was making a mistake, but he refused to listen. Listening is a skill and a gift.
MK is a family party; it is Zuma’s party, and a political joke that survives because of the dysfunction of South African politics. Insulting Julius Malema and the political party (EFF) he served as Vice President of for ten years, while also insulting Jacob Zuma and his family party, only makes Floyd unattractive to potential collaborators.
The fact that he cannot see the harm in visiting the fake Malawian prophet Shepherd Bushiri, despite the overwhelming evidence of the suffering caused, reveals a heart hardened by arrogance and a mind utterly disconnected from the agony endured by Bushiri’s victims. Victims who are South African!
While those innocent souls live in fear, pain, and shattered trust after Bushiri’s escape from justice, Floyd chose to turn a blind eye, deepening the wounds and mocking their torment.
Such callousness is not just out of touch, it is a betrayal of leadership itself.
If Floyd truly wants to lead, he must first learn humility, accountability, and empathy, because without these, he will remain a lost voice echoing in a void of broken trust and, to quote President Mbeki’s book, a dream deferred.
@elonmusk collected all those fake pictures and videos and gave Trump as evidence.
It’s embarrassing that no fact check was done by the business man. Propagandist like him are damaging the diplomatic institutions in the form of embassy relations.

Family,
Stay safe in the TL, and remember that we are in a season of madness.
Don't forget that your digital footprint will outlive this season and, for many, be traced back to you.
Don't get in the way of your future blessings.
Be blessed.
The fact that Kaizer chiefs equalised yesterday and celebrated like they won tells a story! No one player rushed to take the ball to the centre line to try go for another late goal. Winning mentality is not there.@robertmarawa@ThabisoMosia
