This is sooooooo fake and made go farm engagements
1) not a single f-word was dropped (so that it doesn’t limit reach)
2) screaming is kept to a minimum
3) the camera is way to steady
4) the overacting and the flowery metaphors
5) the overly demeaning attitude by the lady.
This is a video which is trying(in is own mind it’s very clever 🙄) to highlight the tipping culture. But it’s very annoying in the process.
I used to be depressed when I was younger especially during my university years, but… deep down I felt that traveling abroad was my salvation. I remember those words guiding me from a famous Arabic poem:

English Translation
Leave your homeland in pursuit of excellence,
And travel, for in travel there are five benefits:
Relief from worry, the earning of a livelihood,
Knowledge, refinement of character, and the company of noble people.
If it is said that travel brings humiliation and hardship,
Crossing deserts and enduring difficulties,
Then the death of a young man is better than his remaining
In a land of humiliation, among informers and the envious.
I have seen that stagnant water becomes corrupted;
When it flows, it is pure, and when it does not, it loses its freshness.
Had lions never left their dens, they would catch no prey;
And had arrows never left the bow, they would never strike their target.
If the sun stood still forever in the heavens,
People—Arab and non-Arab alike—would grow weary of it.
Gold, while buried in the earth, is no different from dust;
And aloeswood, in its native land, is merely another kind of firewood.

Why this poem resonates with me
This poem reflects much of my own journey. Leaving my homeland was not easy, but it gave me opportunities that I would never have found otherwise. Through living and working abroad, I built a career, met my wife, and found a new place to call home.
What is perhaps most surprising is that leaving did not make me love my homeland less. In many ways, it made me appreciate it more. Today, when I return, I do so as a visitor. I enjoy the people, the culture, the food, and the memories without carrying the same burdens that once weighed on me.
To me, the poem is not merely about travel. It is about testing yourself against different cultures and finding the best version of yourself.
Not saying all Japanese ppl should leave Japan to cure their depression. But it one of many options u got.
