First year of teaching, I told my students I wanted a superhero name. Thus, The Samsanator was born. Teacher, writer, feminist, mama, wife, craftivist.
I feel like a lot of work people have found me recently, which is great, but it’s probably worth saying that this is NOT a professional or school-related account. And when I do make it on here (which is not often), I’m very opinionated. So... follow at your own risk! 😉
These videos of people doing remote work while kids and pets do their kid/pet things are giving me life. BECAUSE THIS IS LIFE. Finally we can all stop pretending that our work and our lives don’t overlap.
@mrs_pachecoJCHS Oh man. This was so me at 24-30. Now I’m happy if I make it out of the house with the coffee @timsamberts made and no spit up or peanut butter stains on whatever shirt was at the top of my drawer.
My brain is a ping pong ball.
Do your best today. Sometimes that’s 1%. Sometimes it’s knocking it out of the park.
Either way, it’s your best.
It’s enough.
Don’t forget to eat lunch.
Love you! ❤️
.@realdonaldtrump just said: "if it were up to the doctors, they'd shut down the entire world." Actually, if it were up to us, we'd save as many people as possible. We would follow the science & evidence. We would never put politics ahead of the public's health #covid19

Huh. Interesting.
TBH, @timsamberts and I have talked a lot about this. We want to see schools treat this as trauma and work to help kids accordingly when we return to school, whenever that may be.
