This is TotalEnergies on Sandton Drive. If you’re a regular here, you’ve seen the shift — from migrant staff to South African workers across the petrol attendants, cashiers, and M&B staff.

As of 1 July 2026, they’re down to just 4 migrant workers from a complement of around ±25. What makes me happier is the fact that these roles are being field by young people.
