Embedded With Hilltop Youth in Qusra | What Really Happened During the "Siege"

There’s a race to settle the second-highest mountaintop in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank). It sits in no-man’s-land — Area B.

Eight months ago, a group of bold Israeli youths took it upon themselves to settle a hilltop farm outpost there, after months of attacks from the nearby Arab town of Qusra.

Just when they thought they’d won the battle, the media arrived and created one of the biggest lies of the year: that a besieged Palestinian family home was under attack.

@samschub was given access to the other side of the mountaintop alongside the young settlers in the middle of the media frenzy.

"If we're going to be here, we are going to be on all of the land. And if we're not going to be on some of the land, we're not going to be on any of it because we've tried all of these experiments.

The Gaza so-called disengagement plan, the Oslo Accords, Hebron, Jericho, Gaza agreements, and all they've brought us is over 3000 dead bodies and thousands and thousands of more injured. And who knows what's yet to come.

It's time to take back the guns from the PLO terror organization. It's time to reinstate them as a terror organization and treat them and all of their sympathizers accordingly, and take ownership of the land.

Because in the end of the day, there is no reason on God's good earth why we have any right to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv, and not toTel Talpiot."

“The Palestinian Authority, in a massive move, is trying to take over everything here. So it’s not that the Arab villages are expanding upward. Rather, they [the PA] specifically send someone and pay them money to take over the area, to create continuity.

And basically here at Tel Talpiot [the hilltop next to Qusra], the guys recognized that in another second almost the highest ridge here in Samaria would be taken over, and they said, ‘We do not agree to continuity,’ and came up.

That is why we will see up top how important this is — how much it overlooks everything.”

Here we are on the hilltop next to Qusra, on the other side of the mountain, where Akiva (aka the legend) is showing me all the Arab and Jewish villages surrounding the mountain, how the PA goes about taking over the mountaintops, and why it was so important for the local settlers to take this mountain and keep it in Jewish hands.

Here’s the other side of the “settler violence” headlines from yesterday.

The Jews seem to have been attacked on Shabbat so the Palestinians could get ahead of the media. When the Jews push back the cameras start to roll.

If you think this was not encouraged, and even caused, by the 45 Democratic senators publicly condemning “settler violence,” you don’t understand the Middle East.

Again, political vacuums generally are not filled well. Time for One Jewish State.
