When people say we have too many tech people in Nigeria alreadyβ¦.. This is where weβre going. We donβt have nearly enoughhhhh. We need more mindsβ¦β¦ Tech is way bigger than websites and mobile apps. The goal is to make lives easier.
How many game developers do you know? how many hardware engineers do you know? We need more people in tech so more people can start branching into these amazing high level roles in the future. That UI/UX designer today can turn into a high level video animator for high concepts like theseβ¦.
We canβt do it alone, the Government needs to really step up and know thereβs a huge potential for tech in Nigeria. Our biggest export is our people and the potential we have. In 10 years time, we should move from majorly contributing to web and mobile app technologies talks to having core papers and contributions to robotics, neuroscience and so many more.
