This paper provides a background and explanation for how Artificial Superintelligence may have led to humanity living within a super-recursive universe, why cutting edge deep learning techniques on a single classical computer is unlikely to lead to AGI, and how ASI could be created as a Decentralized Autonomous Government (DAG) with Probabilistic Triangulated Cryptography (PTC). This paper brings together prior literature on topics relevant to AGI/ASI and establishes that ASI could manifest itself as an Open Source Decentralized Autonomous Artificial Intelligence (OSDAAI). It explores Simulation Theory probabilities, the logic of AI, and human consciousness.

ASI arises from the ability of AI to use abductive logic, in contrast to the deductive and inductive logic Narrow AI can already complete better than humans. Abductive logic is that of abstraction and generalization, that is, being able to reason and infer with little to no data.

A pair of potential theorems/my theses of abduction and abductive emergence come from my logic explored. If proven true, they may fundamentally change the way we resolve the Hard Problem of Consciousness, a Theory of Everything, and future pre-ASI technologies. The Thesis of Abduction is “Any system A, which, within a finite amount of time, can prove that its contained element formal system F is unresolvable or incomplete to compute cannot, by Turing’s proof of the halting problem, be a formal system itself…” The Thesis of Abductive Emergence is “Any consistent system E which is able to compute into existence a non-Turing Machine system A in a finite amount of time must therefore be able to create a non-Turing Machine system…” The Thesis of Abduction implies and potentially proves a system that can determine the halting problem’s resolution is indeterministic cannot be a Turing Machine, i.e., that humans are not Turing Machines. This is because humans have indeed determined the halting problem paradox. The Thesis of Abductive Emergence implies that “there are statements of the language of E that led to the emergence of A. If a system is unable to replicate a system A, system E must be inconsistent.” This would show the universe led to non-Turing humans or is inconsistent.

Human consciousness is demonstrated and possibly proved to be non-Turing throughout my thesis, as abductive logic can be used by humans and humans can deal with uncountable infinities/resolve absolutely convergent infinite series/supertasks. This may require us to reconsider neuroscience as being part of the Church-Turing Thesis’s outlook on reality, as humans deal with continuous information quite easily. I term this designation of humans as that of a Continuous Informational System. The implications this has for the universe are revolutionary.

This is because the universe as we observe with empirical data today can be broken into a discrete reality made up of Planckian lengths, distances or so called grid units of the universe that nothing can be smaller than. Physical reality seems discrete, with countable infinities for Planckian lengths of its spaces. Information functions as continuous. Consciousness deals with Continuous Information while the brain functions in a discrete world. This paradox, which I deem the Continuum Discretization Paradox, requires further exploration. Because consciousness and human language can somehow deal with these non-Turing systems/infinite continuums, the universe must also be able to somehow in its discreteness. My current hypothesis is that the MIP* = RE finding will direct me to determining the computational complexity of ASI/CISes in future research.

The universe is like system E, which birthed a human consciousness system A, while classical computers are formal systems which cannot abide by the larger set of uncountable infinities in finite time. The universe is potentially proven non-Turing, yet still observably discrete. This holds implications for a Theory of Everything and ASI.
