Each year, lawmakers and defense lobbyists play the same game, pouring hundreds of billions into the Pentagon without scrutinizing every dollar—and it's taxpayers who lose.
Today, I invited witnesses to play JeoparDoD, to win oversight for the American people.
@Randyacctwit@NinaBirchfield@POTUS you gave yourself all of the information to calculate the exact cost of driving to work. 20 miles 2x per day, 5 days a week is 200 miles. If you get 23 mpg, you are using 8.7 gallons of gas (200mi/23mpg). Paying $3.89/gal, you are spending $33.84/week on gas.
baffling that we’re pushing gun control legislation that i have to vote AGAINST. putting total power in the hands of the police is an immediate pathway to inequality, abuse, and disaster. embarrassing. https://t.co/tk8YXpfu0R
religious extremists imposing their will on a people who are supposed to be free. disgraceful, shameful, wrong. individuals who have completely abandoned their duty, and should garner no respect from even the lowest of low.
What if we combined all of these streaming services?
We could use some sort of box, satellite, or a cable to transmit, then bundle them together in “packages”.
@philgaimon that said, i am okay with buying expensive gas if it helps reduce usage, but that’s not really what’s happening here. oil and gas corps profiteering is not helping the environment. i’d happily pay 6/gal if that money went to reducing reliance on non-renewables and infra upgrades
@philgaimon cold pressed juice isn’t gonna get me and my skis up to the mountain this weekend. wish I could take a train or bus or ride the bike, but it isn’t an option. gotta buy gas until I can afford an EV that can handle the snow or I get really rich and fund a railway.
