@KatieHerringt13 @thecaitdiaries Of course I wear a mask though, not disagreeing with that. Just saying that if the population wants nurses to look after them, at least let the nurses look after themselves 🤷🏼♀️
@KatieHerringt13 @thecaitdiaries I would have to disagree on this one. If my employer is telling me to come back to work as a nurse after 5 days, I’d like to at least be able to go to the pharmacy to get some medication to help with the massive headache that being a nurse in NB causes.
I would like to know why a 2 bedroom house is 500 fucking thousand dollars. It’s in petit rocher. The good cantine there isn’t even open anymore, good lord.
Not to be the person who cut out alcohol after binge drinking frequently for several years but it’s reeeeaaalllyyy weird how normalized alcohol is and it’s really weird how much we accept and normalize how bad it makes us feel
Sitting here in the only pediatric unit in our health zone, BY MYSELF, working alone. Not a single other human being here to respond to the call bells of my patients that need care. Tonight I am not permitted to eat, use the bathroom, or even leave to have a drink of water.
I haven’t been on here in a while, but honestly one of the most disappointing things to happen due to COVID is the end of the pizza delight bread bar (also my job as a nurse is terrible)
Pisses me off that at 22 years old I volunteered to work on the COVID unit and literally risk my own safety and when I open Snapchat I see the people I went to highschool with blatantly ignoring the common sense rules that are in place.
Also, to add to this. If you must go out to the grocery store, LEARN WHAT THE ARROWS ON THE FLOOR MEAN. Someone else comes at me in an aisle during this pandemic they’re gonna catch hands
