ESTO CADA VEZ DA MÁS MIEDO.
Subes una foto cualquiera y esta IA intenta decirte DÓNDE FUE TOMADA.
Según sus propios resultados, su modelo global acierta el país en un 93,3% de los casos, la región a menos de 200 km en un 76,5% y el área de la ciudad a menos de 25 km en un 60,3%.
Una auténtica locura, pero lo más inquietante es lo que NO necesita:
Sin GPS.
Sin EXIF.
Sin metadatos.
Sin búsqueda inversa.
Sin buscar la foto en Internet.
Se llama GeoInfer y asegura analizar únicamente los píxeles de la imagen.
Mira cosas que probablemente tú pasarías por alto:
La arquitectura.
La vegetación.
El terreno.
Las marcas de la carretera.
La señalización.
Las infraestructuras.
El aspecto general del entorno.
Junta todas esas pequeñas pistas y en menos de un segundo devuelve una ubicación estimada con coordenadas y un radio de confianza.
Y hay un detalle especialmente interesante, puede funcionar incluso con una foto que NUNCA haya sido publicada en Internet.
No significa que vaya a encontrar tu calle exacta con cualquier foto. La propia GeoInfer reconoce que la geolocalización es probabilística y que la precisión cae cuanto más intentas acercarte al punto exacto.
Pero pensar que una IA puede mirar una foto sin ningún dato de localización y reducir una parte enorme del planeta a una zona concreta en menos de un segundo...
Ya es suficientemente inquietante y puedes probarla gratis (geoinfer com), sin crear una cuenta.
