@son_of_uki Great, but I don't think Trent is, but Valverde definitely has a place, and Camavinga to strengthen the midfield.

In yesterday’s match between Deportivo La Coruña and Real Betis this was not punished as a red card. These La Liga referees are the worst in Europe; no wonder they are never called for FIFA and UEFA games. https://t.co/U4ozmhXM37

🚨🗣️ Thibaut Courtois on Vinícius Jr. being frustrated after being substituted:

“I spoke to him later and simply told him to chill out. We lost another game, not the race. Everyone is frustrated, but we cannot allow one defeat to turn into something bigger. The season is still long.”

“I told him we cannot let this become another Xabi Alonso situation, because if the manager loses control of the dressing room, then we have a much bigger problem. At this moment, I don’t see a better manager out there to come and magically fix everything.”

🗣️ “Jose is a very smart coach and he could turn a mess around, but that’s exactly why we need to be careful. When players start showing frustration publicly, other players can lose respect for the manager, and suddenly the dressing room becomes divided.”

“All I told Vini was simple: stay calm and don’t start the same mess we put ourselves in last season. We’ve already learned how quickly things can fall apart. We cannot be the ones creating the next problem ourselves.”

🚨 José Mourinho when asked if Real Madrid can still win La Liga: “If they leave us in peace, calm… then there’s time”.

🚨Roy Keane on Dean Huijsen’s red card in the Real Madrid derby against Atlético Madrid:

🗣️"Do me a favour. It’s a Madrid derby! You’ve got two proper teams out there, men battling for every inch, and the referee ruins the entire spectacle because a defender puts a hand on an attacker's arm?

Giuliano Simeone feels a slight touch on his shoulder, and what does he do? Goes down like he's been hit by a double-decker bus! That’s not a red card. In my day, if you sent a player off in a derby for that, your own teammates would laugh you out of the pitch.
And don't get me started on the referee, Miguel Ángel Ortiz Arias. He gives a yellow card initially—which was soft enough as it is—and then he allows the VAR mob to whisper in his ear and drag him over to that little TV monitor. Stand by your decision! Have some backbone! You’re meant to be managing a top-class fixture, not running a video game.

To upgrade that to a straight red card for Dean Huijsen as the 'last man' is absolute nonsense. It’s a physical sport. There’s going to be contact when players are sprinting into the box. The game has gone completely soft. Players are looking for excuses to fall over, and referees are all too happy to play the hero and hand out red cards like it’s Christmas. Absolute disgrace."
