We also use short audio dairies of between 2-5 minutes to capture information after each session so that anything that seems important is documented in the moment and forms a longitudinal map over the course of the sessions.

Many self-identifying autistic ppl lack formal diagnosis despite wanting it & having higher unmet needs, higher unemployment, & more distress than many diagnosed ppl (as we found👇). Yet UK is proposing to narrow diagnosis. Rationing healthcare backfires!

In this study, we use experiential mapping to bridge the gap between thinking and doing. We physically plot out your thought processes, creative blocks, 'flow' states, strengths, challenges, and your environment. Visualizing how it all connects to your creative actions.

Session 2 moves away from the expansiveness of the first, and we develop strategies to filter ideas, funnel and synthesise.
Observing what you notice, integrating how you feel about specific ideas, what is the quality, amount, direction, how can we start moving towards action.
To give a bit more context on Session 1: We’ll be focusing specifically on 'The Idea Phase.' We'll existing within divergent thinking to cultivate strategies to develop idea fluidity, generation, openness and expansion. We look at the how and why of creating and documenting idea.
A new article in Nature Medicine found that social connections were a surprisingly powerful predictor of a long life.
Living with a partner was roughly as beneficial as exercise. Regular visits with family or having someone to confide in also appeared to be associated with lower mortality. Loneliness also affects mental wellbeing—another factor in longevity.

The autistic experience of being told you're "full of yourself" because you know when you're good at something and you aren't going to pretend to be "humble" about it just because there's some weird social rule that says you're supposed to.
