At $2,400 a *YEAR*, I cannot express how disappointed I am by the federal budget and the #CDB announcement. This will NOT lift pwds out of poverty. Yes, there are other measures that might be helping, but $2,400 a year is going to keep a LOT of people in extreme poverty.

The Canada Disability Benefit, set for July 2025, offers $2,400/year to low-income disabled persons aged 18-64. While helpful, some argue it's insufficient given the cost of living. #DisabilityInclusion #CDB

@KathleenCda Well, I would not see a provincial / territorial gov use a federal measure to give access to a provincial measure.
