We traveled to Cedar Rapids today for the CR Kennedy Invite. Our Varsity placed 3rd and JV placed 1st
We had 11 medalists and one Meet Champion - Lhotse Samuelson won the JV Division.

JV Runner of the Meet goes to Lhotse Samuelson for crushing the competition and taking home the Gold! This Lady Warrior also faces adversity every time she races and is not going to let Diabetes hold her back! 💪

@truljo Rather scary🫣

[Iowa School Boards @IASB_Iowa]

IA public schools are governed by elected school board members who ensure taxpayer $$ are overseen with full transparency and accountability. Private schools are not held to the same standard, so taxpayers are left in the dark about the use and impact of vouchers. #NoVouchersIA

[Iowa School Boards @IASB_Iowa]

Public schools are open to all students, regardless of race, religion, gender, socio-economic status & disability. Vouchers fund private schools, which are not always accepting of every student & divert funds from public schools, hurting students most in need. #NoVouchersIA

@KimReynoldsIA I heard you say today that we need to do better for our kids. Yes, yes we do! That is why we need to properly fund our state’s PUBLIC schools. Those are the schools you should be concerned about.

@Rivian Hmm, you #FirstMile this saying we can drive the course? Family drove 4.5 hours one way today only to be told it wasn’t for a test drive. Saw trucks, 3 with technical issues. Left with more questions than answers. False advertising!
