It hasnt. You can still buy the old thing today. And it’s basically the same price (inflation adjusted) and availability as it has always been. What changed is that you can now buy the cheap ugly thing for 10X cheaper and to most people that is worth it.
Without physical games:
- Midnight launches are dead
- Collectors Editions lose half of their value
- You can’t share, trade, or sell your games
- You can’t buy used games
- If there’s a server outage, you’re shit out of luck
- YOU OWN NOTHING
@hyxkkimxru Hopefully nobody spoils anything! This dude is from Crisis Core, which should be played after completing the main story (Remake, Rebirth, Revelation in this case). Crisis Core is designed to be played after the PS1 Original.
job market is a joke right now. Driving Lessons are more expensive than ever, and even if you pass the insurance costs are an even bigger joke. Public transport isn’t the best. The blame isn’t on the young people for this one. There’s virtually no local jobs and they can’t afford to travel for further away jobs.
An annual salary of £247,000 is a pittance - barely enough for a pauper to live on. But people on Universal Credit are living a life of unbridled luxury, and really need to cut back.

@LH__72@sp4rkl3jumpr0p3 If you were paid £50k to be a cleaner or £50k to be a CEO you’d pick to be a CEO because being a cleaner is a hard graft. they deserve to be paid more fairly as it’s an undesirable necessary job.
@nebboneheim@sp4rkl3jumpr0p3 120k puts you in the top 2-3%. someone will always need to be a cleaner, not every cleaner could become a CEO. bot behaviour.
