Dropped all chores, and landed in my my daughter’s art class this morning, me and my inner 12 yr old… coloring away. Now, only if I had my own room and study table, I’d stick this up to the wall. :)
Weekend crosswords and coloring now brought by #Blinkit order.
millennial, missing Sunday morning newspaper ritual of reaching for cartoon & animation section, solving puzzle & coloring pen-to-paper thanks to Sunday newspaper… now delivered by Blinkit order
@bagchisagnik@SkodaIndia@VWGroup they shared extended warranty info and cost. Will check if the email has a link (did not see the buy here link) But I’ve been following up since before delivery… the miss was on their end. A more rounded solution would’ve been offering it at the within-45-days price.
@SkodaIndia I wrote to your customer care for 2 things. 1. How does a customer get the Škoda membership benefits which include 3 years free service, promised at the time of booking? 2. Extended warranty?
Prev responses from your team like “will dm” deflect responsibility. 🙏🏼
@bagchisagnik@SkodaIndia@VWGroup I received a response from them, with the 3 year service info. Which closed one loop. Thanks @SkodaIndia
For the second, they shared a canned response for extended warranty. But their was no acknowledgement that I have been asking them of this since before delivery. And while
@bagchisagnik@SkodaIndia@VWGroup Same. Nor have I received one. I am quite tired and exhausted, waiting on them to find “time to offer solution to a rather normal BAU qsn. As 🤔next steps, to get a resolution, Sagnik… I am ok to write emails but they have to extend courtesy of resolution and response. 😀
@bagchisagnik@SkodaIndia@VWGroup Hi Sagnik, have you received any response? I booked this car through the Škoda Kylaq prerelease offer period(24 hours of reveal). And it was delivered in first week of April. My experience with the dealer was terrible. But the car is beautiful! Absolutely loving it.
@BBMPofficial sir, this open naala and road is a breeding ground for mosquitos, only 4 steps away from the seven senses school, Nellurhalli. You can see in the video that there are a lot of mosquitos that are breeding. Please look into this as children’s well-being is a concern.
@LiveLawIndia Iyer abuses people openly and all he gets is gentle treatment to delete the tweets whereas a Muslim guy is put behind the bars for expressing his frustration, laws are different for different people in this country .
@nandiniv Agreed, Nandini. Loved the phrase “unassuming women” … to me, this is a significant shift in the perceptions around us about those who ‘can’ and ‘cannot.’
He said he was very stumped with BluSmart shutting down abruptly. Googling about it, learned about the fraud and scam the owners were involved in. Certainly an abrupt, unexpected and quick ending to a service we all relied on. Hope there’s relief to the drivers and families
Was at the Bangalore airport today. And there was utter chaos because the blusmart cabs were no where to be found. Uber go wasn’t available, sedan had 20 mins wait, and premier was charging 3x what I would pay to blue smart. Getting a cab was absolute chaos. People skipping qs
Cab drivers almost meeting outside the security gates in terminal 2, saying “taxi taxi taxi” and demanding a price: pretty unusual sight. The driver of the cab I finally hired, said he has been waiting for the last 3 days and finally gave in and rented this cab to drive.
What they cooked. A far and disctintively far fetched dream for most of us who live in the world of instant gratification. Take me from here and put me there, I am sure I will change the lay of the land for those folks. Best if we “smart” city dwellers keep our influence low.
I recently visited a non-descript, blink and miss fisherman-village in Kerala. It was surreal, no hotels, no swiggy, no plastic, or cigarette stubs, pathways, no ordering, there fore no plastic, pavements, and roads well made. Commuters on cycles and scooter. It was glorious!
I don't want smart cities.
Please give me a clean, normal, walkable, less polluted, non-smart city where there are no cows on the roads and less garbage on the streets.
I am looking for a city where traffic offenders are penalised, and where people think twice before breaking laws.
Give me a city where it's safe for women to stroll around late in the night.
I will cherish a city where I can report a problem and expect a closure.
I don't want smart cities please 🙏
Am I expecting too much from a nation which aspires to be a global leader?
I was first shocked that there was no take-aways, and then took a double take when I realised there weren’t any “hotels or restaurants” as such. And then, realised — why everything was so clean and green. People did not have the extra “reason” to buy and order. They ate and wore
The fact that the population is small, mostly folks growing their own local crop, and relying on fishing. Cooking what they grow, and living with basic, which truly felt abundant from an urban poverty. Abundant sand and sea, abundant water to shower and drink. Fresh produce.
