I came across this touching clip, which was recorded yesterday after the graduation ceremony for police officers at the Kenya National Police Training College, Kiganjo. The ceremony was presided over by President William Ruto.
During the emotional moment, a father presented his daughter with a copy of the Holy Qurβan, encouraging her to continue reading and following the words of Almighty Allah as she begins her career as a police officer.
It was truly an incredible and touching gesture.
The father reminded his daughter to remain connected to her faith and religious values as she embarks on this new chapter of her life.

Prophet Yunus (AS) was sent to the people of Nineveh (in modern-day Iraq). For years, he invited them to the worship of one God, but they met his message with mockery and stubbornness. Frustrated and losing hope, Yunus (AS) made a decision: he decided to leave the city without waiting for Allahβs permission.
βHe headed to the sea and boarded a ship crowded with passengers. As the ship reached the middle of the ocean, a violent storm broke out. The waves rose like mountains, and the ship was on the verge of sinking. The sailors believed someone on board had brought bad luck, so they decided to draw lots to see who should be thrown overboard to lighten the load.
βThree times, the name was drawn, and every time, it was Yunus (AS). Realizing this was the decree of Allah, he threw himself into the cold, raging waters.
βAt that moment, Allah commanded a giant whale to swallow Yunus (AS) whole, but with a specific instruction: βDo not break his bones, and do not harm his flesh.β Yunus (AS) awoke in a terrifying place. He was surrounded by three layers of darkness: the darkness of the night, the darkness of the deep sea, and the darkness of the whale's belly. He could hear the strange, low humming of the ocean's creatures and felt the weight of his mistake.
βIn that suffocating silence, he didn't give up. He turned his heart to Allah and uttered the famous words that have become a lifeline for every distressed believer:
β"La ilaha illa Anta, Subhanaka, inni kuntu minaz-zalimin."
(There is no god but You, Glory be to You! Truly, I have been among the wrongdoers.)
βAllah heard his cry from the depths. He commanded the whale to swim to a distant shore and gently cast Yunus (AS) onto the dry land. Yunus (AS) emerged weak and ill, but Allah caused a gourd tree to grow over him, providing him with shade and healing fruit. When he eventually returned to Nineveh, he found a miracle: the entire city of 100,000 people had repented and accepted the faith.
βThe Moral: No matter how deep the darkness you are in, and no matter how heavy your mistakes feel, Allahβs mercy is closer than you think. A sincere prayer from the heart can reach the heavens from the bottom of the ocean.
@Kabale_arero Congratulations to our youths. It's a very welcoming move, indeed.
Thanks, madam CHRP,QABALE, your unwavering support, dedication, and devotedness towards uplifting the young generations is so far a mark that deserves applause.
Thank you once again.
@MaxwellMbae@Wakabando True,It's absolutely hogwash for the so-called united opposition to think removing the current regime is the only agenda without giving the best alternative governance to kenyas. It's completely nonsense.
@AbdikadirNeema@Safaricom_Care Asc, this is very dangerous and worrying, Safaricom must be held liable for this damage.
Am indeed very sorry for our mum.
@Honcalebamisi Allah has decreed the exact time of death for every person, and this can not be changed. The specific time of death is known to Allah. Even before birth, so are you questioning the divine authority, which are unchangeable?
