I WON!!
My humblest thanks to @IrlEmbAthens, @InsiderAthens, and the judges for choosing my story as the winner of the Bloomsday Competition.
Congrats too to fellow shortlisters (esp. fellow #dooligan, @thesparklyshell)
I'm sooo glad this found a home.

@Zonal_Marking Klopp uses the media as fools, but he has always been disingenuous.
Quick to point at others, yet happy to have his Liverpool success bankrolled by ISIS money launderer, Standard Chartered and fraudsters, Western Union.
Condemns the CWC now but he'll still take Red Bull's money.
@tom_harrison95 For clarification, he is not considering the four-in-a-row here. He clearly says "fourmidables". His second title was as part of the great City team that won all four domestic trophies one season. Some City fans refer to that team as 'the fourmidables'.
@snuwtbi@ZachLowy@StevenMcinerney That's the thing. He played a significant role in the most definitive season in, not only the club's greatest ever season, but what was (& I say this objectively) the most successful team in English football history.
He coulda done more but that 1 year alone, earns him a pass.
@wearelfctmm@SkySportsPL Agreed. I'd say City had it even worse than both but so what?. It might be a consideration when planning ahead but it is not an excuse. Never has been. You're only as good as the team you can put out on the day.
@PrestwichBlue@goatersmotors@boymetworld91 Don't forget United being precious and refusing to take first dibs on the council's offer of the City of Manchester Stadium was such a win-win for everyone.
(a) City takeover would never have happened
(b) United wouldn't be proud owners of the UK's fourth largest waterfall.
Woohoo, made it to SIXTY 🥳 Thanks @Gatoto_express for the birthday artwork 🙏
Please help me celebrate by supporting #BrickByBrick with a SHARE and/or donation, to a fundraiser very close to my heart ❤️🖤🤍💚 GRMA 🙏

@JFennellAuthor Ah, thanks!
Working in logistics, I automatically thought along more prosaic lines (many are produced in Eng/ Ire now, where trained UK actors are readily available) but your theory explains the audience's acceptance of the change - which is what really puzzled me.
Thanks again.
I don't watch Science Fiction but my wife loves it, so...
Can anyone explain (in words other than, "shut up or get out") why so many Sci Fi characters now speak in cut glass English Public School accents instead of that side-of-the-mouth all-American swagger they used to have?
