Yesterday after securing Rena’s results, I immediately took her and her mother to meet Tonny Tumukunde. We had a very emotional conversation.

Tonny recommended a Christian school for her (Rena and her mother are Christians), Code High School. When he first mentioned the school, I thought it was just an ordinary school. Oh my…

Earlier today, Rena, her mother and I traveled to Bajjo, Seeta in Mukono District to seek admission. When we arrived, we were received by the Deputy Head Teacher. After listening to the girl’s story and seeing her impressive PLE performance (Second Grade Upper – 15 aggregates), she was admitted immediately.

Rena is going to a school that many of us who come from humble families only dreamt of. After the admission, it was another emotional moment as her mother broke down in tears of joy.

The school is not only strong in infrastructure but also academics. They performed very well in the 2025 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education examinations.

The school administration has allowed Rena to start next term and catch up with her S.1 class.

It all started with Mariam reaching out to me… and here we are. Knowing that this girl is going to school feels like a lifetime achievement.
