@GilbertGreen64@RoyalCentral Queen Alexandra, Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth .. all queen consorts yet never styled in public as them .. it’s Queen Camilla, a title created the moment her husband became sovereign and crown.
@RachelB36245295@charliejbyrne57@RoyalCentral Rachel going through your tweets and you never have anything nice to say. Just a middle aged Karen moan, moan, moan .. it’s top tier cringe 😬
@orrkid1@Ecclesthebrave@RoyalCentral This phrasing / styling “consort” it to please a demographic so deluded they fail to see that monarchy is not a popularity contest. Awkward really.
@orrkid1@RachelB36245295@RoyalCentral No - the sovereign is HM King Charles III, his wife is HM Queen Camilla. On paper or Wikipedia, yes she is a Queen consort, but we never address our queen consorts as “Queen consort” we simply say “Queen Camilla”
@Ecclesthebrave@RoyalCentral Did we ever style these consorts “Queen Consort”? .. Queen Alexendra, Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth (Queen mum) … no! They were .. the Queens .. Camilla is Queen Camilla 👌🏻
@REVOLP@BishopPaulMK@RoyalCentral Jozi - we have never styled a Queen consort that name, Queen Alexandra, Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth, Queen Camilla - the word consort is no longer needed. She is our current Queen.
