The proud despise Jesus because He embodies the very humility they are too insecure to embrace.

Those who mock or scorn Christ are rarely driven by intellectual superiority. More often, their ridicule masks a deep insecurity, one that recoils from the mirror Jesus holds up to the human heart.

He lived the humility they fear to claim: total surrender to God’s will and strength perfected in weakness. An admission that we, as humans, can’t become gods. Jesus taught us through His behavior on earth what it takes to annihilate the self; total surrender to God, to become like children spiritually, which means total dependence on God.

Other religions, such as Hinduism, are ego-based and teach that one can overcome the “self” by simply meditating or through their own actions. It’s pride-based. A refusal to demonstrate humility of heart and to admit that humans can’t become gods.

So much noise online regarding the term "judeo-Christian." Guys -- in academia it's simply the term that describes the combined corpus of Old and New Testaments. The Jewish heritage of the Hebrew scriptures combined with the New Testament. That's it. I know you want there to be some conspiracy but there isnt, that's the way we're using it. It has nothing to do with geo-politics or a one world order.

The 10 Commandments are Jewish.

The great stories of the Old Testament are Jewish.

The Jews developed the idea of subsidiarity as the alternative to tyranny and slavery.

The Jews established the cultural preconditions for the rise of universal literacy.

The fate of Israel at the hands of the Islamists is the fate of the West.

This rising tide of anti-semitism sickens me. Those of you engaging in it for your oh-so-moral reasons—you're despicable.
