Hi we’re Minds of POC!

Our service began due to the sore lack of knowledge around people of colour’s mental health.

We want to enact change the best way we can through consultations, workshops & training. We hope this lays the groundwork to the true structural change needed.

jokes aside, the Muslim community is so distanced from the effects of suicide and mental illness in our community so it’s amazing to see more Muslims being active in prevention spaces

it’s painful working in the support/mental health sector when it’s so divorced from the sociopolitical drivers and causes of mental illness and distress. constantly reacting to symptoms and never addressing the systemic causes
