⚠️ Former Director General of Health Services, Delhi Dr Vatsala Agarwal's arrest in the alleged medical procurement scam is deeply disturbing.

From portable X-ray machines and C-arm equipment to ORS, medicines and other hospital essentials, the allegations point to a betrayal of patient care itself. 💔🩺

If the allegations are proved true, it would be a terrible betrayal of public trust. 😞⚖️

What makes people lose faith is the bigger picture: ACB data cited in a 2023 report showed that from 2014 to 2022, only 5.89% of corruption cases were proved, while 94.11% of the accused were released, and many were later reinstated.
