okay this was like kinda stressful, but the team handled it really well and everyone hung out with gabe and i as we programmed as fast as possible saying nice things like "oh we're handling this so well". we handled this so well!! (and now to make this never happen again)

We have released a patch to fix a bug in the v0.12.0 release that caused some players' objects to disappear from their farms. Thank you for bringing this to our attention so we were able to fix it quickly.

Inflation is bad and this would have been a chore for anyone but "perfect" does not describe this campaign.

@stephentotilo hollow knight otoh is a huge seller (gamalytic has it at 8.7m on steam, and i've never seen it out of the best seller category on switch). maybe it's a rich get richer kind of genre, with no room for mid-size titles?

the year is 2030 and there's a global civil war. you blocked the menswear guy 6 years ago bc he's an annoying liberal. you try to hop a wall to defeat the enemy but you can't. your pants are too slim.

with this patch, we're also releasing our internal save file tool which can pack and unpack save files into JSON. We didn't want to prevent players from doing weird stuff with their saves (i see you ppl trying to add 999 swords)
