The numbers speak for themselves
@Lighter_xyz : 12M points / $65 per point at TGE
@variational_io : 9M points / $? per point at TGE
Most opportunities look obvious only after everyone finally notices them
If a perp can’t generate fees, how strong is the business really?
Cumulative fees are one of the cleanest metrics in perp rankings because they show actual monetization over time, not just temporary volume spikes.
Here’s the current picture:
@edgeX_exchange - $283M
@extendedapp - $20.8M
@ostium - $19M
@paradex - $17.5M
@BasedOneX - $15.1M

Of course, fees alone do not define the best perp.
But ignoring them in a tier list makes no sense.
What would your perp tier list look like based on this?
How much capital is behind the most popular perp DEXs right now?
Some of the most popular perps have already raised serious funding from top crypto VCs.
Here’s a quick overview:
@ostium - $23.5M
Coinbase Ventures, Balaji Srinivasan, Wintermute
@reya_xyz - $19M
Framework Ventures, Robot Ventures, Coinbase Ventures
@BasedOneX - $15.2M
Pantera Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Spartan Group
@variational_io - $11.8M
Coinbase Ventures, Dragonfly, Mirana Ventures
@SatoriFinance - $10M
Polychain Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Jump Crypto
@liquidtrading - $7.6M
Paradigm, General Catalyst, Alpen Capital
@grvt_io - $7.1M
Delphi Ventures, Matrixport Ventures, CMS Holdings
@extendedapp - $6.5M
Cyber Fund, StarkWare, Semantic Ventures
@VestExchange - $5M
Big Brain Holdings, Amber Group, Infinity Ventures
@hibachi_xyz - $5M
Dragonfly, Electric Capital, Circle Ventures
@tread_fi - $3.5M
GBV Capital, Daedalus, New Form Capital
Some perps also raised strategic capital but didn’t disclose amounts:
@edgeX_exchange - Amber Group, Circle Ventures
@BullpenFi - Delphi Ventures, 6th Man Ventures
@StandX_Official - Solana Foundation
@Dreamcash - Tether
Now something interesting.
The funds that appear most often across perp DEX investments:
• Coinbase Ventures
• Delphi Ventures
• Amber Group
These three alone show up across a large portion of new perp infrastructure.
The perp DEX arms race is clearly backed by serious capital. What do you think about this?
To any dealmaker regarding Iran: please understand your deal will have to come to the Senate and be tested. When it comes to matters like this, it’s not about a political party to me. I am going ask the hard questions no matter who presents the deal.
To say I’m suspicious that the ayatollah and his regime will change and keep their word is the biggest understatement in history. I would also caution, beware of anything that comes from Oman.
It is clear to me that the best and only long term answer is to stand with the Iranian people and demand regime change.
Today I designated Iran as a State Sponsor of Wrongful Detention. For decades the Iranian regime has cruelly detained innocent Americans and citizens of other nations to use as political leverage. Iran must end this abhorrent practice and immediately free all unjustly detained Americans.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio declared Iran a state sponsor of "wrongful detention" and called on all Americans to leave the country immediately.

Full @hibachi_xyz point price breakdown: the math looks stupid
They just announced FX markets + backing by Circle.
That’s not “a cool update”, that’s the kind of thing that changes TGE expectations.
Now the numbers:
Emissions:
500,000 points per week
≈ 2,000,000 points per month
Current farming efficiency:
1 point ≈ ~$500 volume
So:
$50K volume ≈ 100 points
$100K volume ≈ 200 points
$500K volume ≈ 1,000 points
$1M volume ≈ 2,000 points
Point price math (conservative scenarios)
Assumptions:
• already farmed: ~40M points
• months left in 2026: ~9
• points added: 9 x 2M = 18M
• estimated total by EOY: ~58M points
If FDV at launch = $200–300M (Pacifica-like range)
and allocation to drop = 10% ($20–30M):
• $20M / 58M ≈ $0.34 per point
• $30M / 58M ≈ $0.52 per point
• If allocation = 20% ($40–60M):
≈ $0.69 – $1.03 per point
• If allocation = 25% ($50–75M):
≈ $0.86 – $1.29 per point
Estimated Hibachi point price:
Conservative scenario - $0.4
Base scenario - $0.8
Bullish scenario - $1.0+
And that’s before boosts, and before any meta shifts if volume stays low.

Boosts: 25% points multiplier + 30% fee discount + 30% weekly points boost
Polymarket is pricing a 2026 token launch as likely too, which makes this even more interesting.
Are you farming where everyone already is or stacking points where the competition is still low?
Why is @variational_io one of the most mispriced perp DEXs right now?
Polymarket is pricing it at around ~$300M FDV.
A perp doing $700–800M daily volume consistently
(and $1B+ on strong market days)
is valued at $300M?
Seriously?
Fine. Let’s take $300M seriously.
Assume 20% allocation to the airdrop
(even though many perps allocate 25–30%).
Even at that conservative valuation,
1 point still comes out around ~$20.
And that’s with a low FDV assumption.
Now think about what happens in a bull market.
As soon as sentiment flips,
people suddenly remember perps exist
and start farming Variational at a much higher cost than today.
We’ve seen this before.
Lighter was ignored at $10–20 per point.
At $40 people started noticing.
At $80+ everyone suddenly “saw the potential”.
Very similar setup right now.

I’m giving my audience the best conditions available.
After that, it’s your decision:
Farm before repricing or when it’s already obvious?
🇺🇸✈️ The United States appears to be actively concealing the movement of its aviation assets. The situation has escalated to the point where daily tracking tables can no longer be published, as aircraft have begun flying en masse with their transponders turned off, making identification of specific airframes increasingly difficult.
🟦 Several key developments stand out:
🇶🇦 At Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the number of KC-135R “Stratotanker” aerial refueling aircraft has decreased from 20 to 7.
🇸🇦 At Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, where only 2 KC-135s were previously stationed, the number has now risen to 14.
🔹 Regarding F-16 fighters: of the aircraft that arrived in the Middle East last week, 12 are stationed at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, while the location of the remaining jets is unknown. (It should be recalled that 12 aircraft each were tracked departing from Aviano, Spangdahlem, and McEntire; CENTCOM photos also indicated that 12 Aviano-based fighters were already in theater prior to reinforcement.)
🔹 EA-18G “Growler”: 6 electronic warfare aircraft are currently at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base.
🔹 RC-135V “Rivet Joint”: 2 signals intelligence aircraft have been observed at Chania Airport in Crete.
🔹 MQ-4C “Triton”: Reports confirm that at least 2 maritime patrol UAVs departed from Al Dhafra Air Base.
🔹 E-3G “Sentry” (AWACS) and E-11A BACN: 6 airborne early warning aircraft and 5 communications relay platforms are at Prince Sultan Air Base.
🔹 Airlift activity: C-17 and C-5 military transport aircraft continue nonstop flights. They are likely transporting air defense system components, spare parts, munitions, and other equipment to support deployed forces.
🟨 The withdrawal of tankers from Al Udeid and the reduction of assets at Al Dhafra may represent precautionary measures. These bases are geographically close to Iran, and there is no neutral or allied land corridor between them where additional air defense systems could be deployed.
🔸 Iran has previously demonstrated the capability to strike targets in Qatar. Reducing exposed assets means that in the event of a surprise Iranian attack, fewer aircraft would require emergency evacuation.
🔷 Confirmed combat-ready assets in the region include:
1. 48 F-16C/CJ fighters
2. 30 F-35A fifth-generation stealth fighters
3. 36 F-15E strike fighters
4. 6 EA-18G Growler electronic warfare aircraft
5. 12 A-10C attack aircraft
6. 12 F-22 Raptors expected soon from RAF Lakenheath in the UK
🔴 These figures do not include the carrier air wings of the USS Abraham Lincoln and the incoming USS Gerald R. Ford, which together could add approximately 100 additional aircraft (including 10–12 F-35Cs, around 80 F/A-18 Super Hornets, and 7–8 EA-18G Growlers).
🔹 U.S. forces appear to be at full operational readiness to execute any order issued by the White House.
❗❗❗ At this stage, prior to any official commencement of military operations against Iran, more than 240 U.S. strike aircraft are already deployed at air bases across the Middle East and surrounding regions. The actual number of fighters could approach 300, as additional aerial refueling aircraft have continuously arrived in recent days at European and Middle Eastern bases. Given their flight patterns, it is likely they are escorting additional fighters flying with transponders turned off.
🇮🇱 Regarding the Israeli Air Force, which would likely participate at full capacity in any operation against Iran: Israel currently operates approximately 280 combat aircraft of various types (including 170 F-16s, over 60 F-15s, and 45 F-35 fifth-generation stealth fighters). It is highly probable that nearly all F-15s and F-35s would operate directly in Iranian airspace, while a portion — possibly up to half — of the F-16 fleet could be assigned to intercept Shahed-type kamikaze drones and cruise missiles launched by Iran or its proxy groups.
