The previously untold story of how Sanctum came to be. Still early innings yet, but good to look back and see all the lessons we learned. We will keep learning and pushing
Here's the story of how Sanctum made it free for anyone to launch a LST on Solana, and in the process grew from 0 to 17M SOL TVL (2nd largest on Sol today) within ~2 years. A fascinating story of how Eth and Sol LST market structures diverged due to a small, technical difference in stakepools.
Caleb and Gareth from our Institutional Growth team are in Tokyo for @WebX_Asia this week.
If you're an exchange, custodian, or treasury looking at Solana staking, launching an LST or integrating one, coffee's on us.

HERE ARE 6 PHRASES THAT SKIP THE APOLOGY AND GET STRAIGHT TO WORK:
Imagine an L1 that burns more than it prints while still being one of the fastest growing chains
That's exactly where $SOL is headed
> 96% of all tokenized stock volume, $4.84B in Q2
> beaten every other chain combined 54 weeks straight
> RWAs at an ATH ~$3.6B, up 7x in a year
Every one of those transactions burns SOL
Now picture burns scaling to 12 - 20k a day while issuance keeps dropping
At some point there's less SOL every day, not more....
