The best advocates for RE are our students. We loved hearing them talk so positively about our subject and meeting so many year 8 who will hopefully be doing the same in 2 years time!
A fantastic start to our 'changing your perspective' day. Yoga, Cooking, STEM, Art; and a fantastic selection of faith representatives from Judaism, Christianity and Islam as well as our guest Humanist speaker. How lucky we are!
Today we visited the very impressive @LivCathedral which was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, the grandson of Sir George Gilbert Scott, who designed our school. We had a fantastic day both here and at the @tateliverpool. The boys were superb. @SandbachSchool
At Sandbach we are fantastic at ensuring RE equips our boys in understanding our culture philosophy & our politics. It's great seeing parliamentary agreement on the Importance of RE. "when hate is on the rise, we have a choice what to do with it"

British culture would not be where it is today if it wasn't for religion.
I want RE taught more in schools so every child can value difference and celebrate the diversity in Britain and across the world.

Our year 7s are analysing census data to get a picture of the religious make up of the UK. They are all doing their own mini census in class, it's great to see our newest theologians/sociologists/philosophers in action! #worldviews#TeamRE
Thank you @StPetersElworth for allowing our students to take part in GSUS live. The boys were given the opportunity to consider how they could respond to Fear,Anger and Rejection, then discuss the Christian view. They thoroughly enjoyed it.
