@SarangaCooray colombo power house is shattered. no more high class business elite that hold political arm that control this country. sri Lanka is moving forward
Dr.Rizvie Salih was a valued member of my team of medical officers at the Orthopaedic Unit of the National Hospital, beginning in 1994 covering three casualty days per week at the Accident Service. He was a reliable, indispensable member of the team, actively assisting me in managing the heavy patient load until 1998.
Following his tenure with us, Dr. Rizvie pursued the Diploma in Otolaryngology programme conducted by the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine at the University of Colombo, successfully obtaining his Diploma (DLO). While working under Dr. Drahaman, Consultant ENT Surgeon at the National Hospital Colombo, Dr. Rizvie was appointed as Acting ENT Surgeon at Nuwara Eliya Hospital where he worked for about 5 months, thereafter he was compelled to resign from government service due to family commitments.
Dr. Rizvie then took up to general practice, reviving Kaleel’s Nursing Home, a facility established by his wife’s legendary grandfather, the late Dr. M.C.M. Kaleel, former long-time Chairman of the UNP. This revival served as a vital service to the underprivileged community in the region. In fact, Dr Rizvie was contemplating on establishing a free disability care centre at the premises with our expertise from the Sri Lanka Spinal Cord Network a professional body on disability care
I write this note to clarify and dispel any misinformation aimed at tarnishing Deputy Speaker Dr. Rizvie Salih’s credibility.

Here is the list of MPs who formed the "footnote gang" that belittled the Auditor General and his report and tried to derail the investigation into the CB bond scam.
1 - Harsha de Silva
2 - Ajith P. Perera
3 - Sujeewa Senasinghe
4 - Harshana Rajakaruna
5 - Wasantha Aluwihare
6 - Abdullah Maharoof
7 - Ashok Abeysinghe
8 - Ravindra Samaraweera
9 - Hector Appuhamy
Their footnotes attempted to dilute the report's findings and shield certain individuals from accountability. The vast majority of the footnote gang is contesting from @sjbsrilanka.
According to CID, Sujeewa S, a national list candidate of SJB, received cheques worth 3 million LKR from Aloysius’ Mendis Co. He also authored a book defending the scam.
Fifteen members of the COPE committee agreed to the report without the footnotes, while the nine members listed above agreed to the report with the footnotes.
