@Dhriyamana@GabbbarSingh I was calling out hypocrisy and fallacy in his logic....fighting others faith while assuming his own faith to be absolute truth
@Bhupend76710799@GabbbarSingh Not defending him ...calling out fallacy in his logic that he fights dogmas while believing his religion to be absolute truth
@GabbbarSingh I guess everyone missed the sarcasm for the last point ....he is completely radialized and cricket was the least radical point that he wrote. He takes his own religion as absolute truth
For the last 2 days, I kept my mouth shut as both Gaurav Sir and Pawan Khera Sir asked me not to react further. But since it is a question of my self respect and moral integrity, I will respond.
I am a proud Congressi. And I will remain so till my last breath. But I will not let any Islamist Fundamentalists and Terrorist Sympathiser question my commitment and dedication to the Congress Party. No one in Modi Era in Congress has faced more Police persecution and brutality, as I did. Or spent time in Jail as I. I had a gun pointed to my head by Assam Police, and till today I am still part of Congress. So Madam, you have no right to question my loyalty or commitment to the Congress Party.
I am a proud Hindu. And I will remain a proud Hindu till my last breath. Being a Congress Party Worker does not mean we will shed our religious identity. And any terrorist like Sharjeel Imam calling for threatening the Hindus of this country. Calling for their religious persecution under the cry of “ Naara-e-Takbeer” “converting Hindus in India” “impose Sharia Law” and remove Constitution of India to make India an Islamic State. I will respond with my fury. And I will oppose any voices within Congress who even dare to show any minute support for such religious extremists in India. This is my Gandhian Duty. This is my Satyagraha.
For years, Hindutvawadis have tried to paint an image of Congress as some Muslim appeasement Party. That Congress only raises voices for Muslims. I am here to change that image under Rahul Ji Congress. I stand with muslims on issues which our Party ideology demands. But I will represent the cause of Hindus with my utmost zeal and capabilities within Congress, so Hindu voices are represented as well. And if any person dares to threaten, harm or endanger the Hindus of this country. I will break their mindset, and I will break their voices. This is not a threat; this is a binding resolution.
There is no difference between Maulana Hafeez Saeed, Ayman al-Zawahiri and Sharjeel Imam. These people dont kill people like normal terrorists do. People like Sharjeel Imam inspire millions of others to take arms, commit violence against others. And later claim innocence acting as some religious clerics, Academics who were just preaching Islam. I have studied Islam and no where it prophesies what utter nonsense these Jihadists preach in Holy Prophet’s name. These people are as dangerous as Cancer cells which goes onto infect other healthy cells, killing the entire immune system. They want to kill the Indian democracy here. People like Sharjeel Imam inspire modern day Godses to kill Hindus in Gandhi’s India. Sharjeel’s contempt for Gandhiji’s Ram Rajya is a proof of that.
Sharjeel Imam is a Cancer. The Government learnt its lesson after Burhan Wani and Yakub Memon, that killing them or giving them death penalty would create tens of more of such Hydra Snakes. So the best option is to keep them incarcerated so neither we let them achieve martyrdom. Nor will they be able to indoctrinate further Jihadists. It is not constitutional, procedural or legal. But it is the necessary evil. And I must remind you, terrorists have no human rights. Because they have already given up on Humanity.
When Congress comes to power; Hindus like me in Congress will ensure people like Sharjeel Imam stay remained in Jail so nobody dares to threaten or harm Hindus in India. Nobody dares to threaten people of Assam and Northeast. We will quash such voices at the source, so no one dreams or aspires to become the next Sharjeel Imam. That is my constitutional duty. That is my Dharma.
I dont care if I am removed from Spokesperson position or taken disciplinary action for saying this loud. I am a Congress Grassroot Partyworker since my NSUI days from 2016 and will remain so as its loyal soldier. But I will NEVER compromise on my principles.

- He praises Iqbal's and Jinnah's vision but never looks at what happened when it became a country. Pakistan's Objectives Resolution (1949) said sovereignty belongs to God. That's where grounding politics in faith ends up (see point 1). In 1974, Ahmadis were declared non-Muslims in the constitution. In 1971, Bengali Muslims broke away after years of exclusion and violence, from a state that was supposed to be built on shared faith. It didn't protect its minorities, and it didn't protect its own Muslims either.
5. Decentralise the state, centralise Muslims
- He talks of a leadership "vacuum" for 250 million Muslims, and plans an organisation to fill it.
- He dismisses the clerical leadership, rival Muslim parties, and Congress-aligned Muslim leaders as servile or illegitimate.
- Apart from caste reservation, the differences among Muslims (sect, language, region) hardly figure.
- He wants the state decentralised, but Muslims united politically behind one discourse.
6. My progressive objections
- Women show up as protesters and organisers, never as people with rights inside the community. He says nothing about personal law, inheritance or women's equality, even while he demands autonomy for the community's institutions. Human rights are not an internal matter for any community.
- He calls the women-centred story of Shaheen Bagh a liberal "dadi-nani" invention meant to erase him.
- His heroes are elite leaders, and he wants the educated middle class to lead. That's what the Pasmanda movement has been fighting against.
- He praises scientific temper, but credits Shaheen Bagh's beginning to help from the unseen, and calls materialism shirk. You can't have it both ways.
- On Palestine, he says faith is the main force of the resistance. That sidelines its secular, leftist and Christian traditions. And Palestinians are fighting for their land and their nation. How does that fit with someone who calls nationalism shirk?
- Critics who misread him are "immature or dishonest." Congress-aligned Muslim leaders are "servile." A rival Muslim party might be a BJP tool. But he wants the public space open for his own ideas.
7. He's J Sai Deepak for Muslims
- Like Sai Deepak, he says Nehruvian secularism was forced on us by elites. Both see a religious civilisation as the real political unit. Both use modern academic language to argue for something very old.
- They need each other. Each one's politics feeds the other.
8. What I agree with, and why it doesn't change my mind
I agree with these. Any citizen can make these arguments:
- Proportional representation, decentralisation and minority safeguards were debated in the Constituent Assembly. These are legitimate questions.
- UAPA treats political dissent as terrorism. That's a real abuse of law.
- Muslims are about 14% of the population but have less than 5% of Lok Sabha seats.
- FPTP distorts results. The BSP got about 4% of the national vote in 2014 and zero seats.
- The 1950 Presidential Order denies Dalit Muslims and Christians the SC status other Dalits get.
- Opposing crony capitalism and allying with Left and Ambedkarite parties are fair positions.
But his starting point is faith, not the citizen. The Muslim members of the Constituent Assembly made similar demands as fellow citizens of one republic. Imam makes them as a spokesman for a separate religious nation.
So I can't tell if these arguments are meant to make the republic fairer, or to weaken a republic he doesn't believe in.
Take proportional representation for example. If it's demanded so every citizen's vote counts, it strengthens the republic. If it's demanded so a religious nation gets its share, it divides the republic. Same demand, different foundation, and definitely different results.
So I'll judge each of his arguments on its own. I won't accept the framework behind them until his starting point is the citizen.

@badlysadlybad@mxtaverse I will tell you my observation....all major protest against any government meets with strong violent response only....it was same during anna hazaare andolan against Congress or Nirbhaya protest. Power reacts in similar way.
@badlysadlybad@mxtaverse There is only one of us who is ready to change opinion when countered with facts....I accepted your argument when it was factual and out of curiosity asked for reason/logic/proof for other half which you evaded and fell back for your intuition, bias and ideology
@badlysadlybad@mxtaverse Completely with you that there should be fair trial even if he is a culprit...also your logic does make sense that initially system tried to delay his bail ..but point of expecting muslims to bend knee is hyperbole as in same case muslims have got the bail..also change in trial..
@badlysadlybad@mxtaverse Yeah I agree that opinion should change in face of fact....Would want to know your perspective on moving case to lower court what would have been motivation behind it .. purely out of curiosity not punching down here.
@badlysadlybad@mxtaverse Exactly we should...only way of looking at facts objectively..but whatever be the case....why did their defence counsel requested for postponement ? This question is kind of lost in your rhetorics
@badlysadlybad@mxtaverse Your rebuttale is based on conspiracy theories and a confirmation bias. Even if we assume that at times jusges recused themselves what is the reason of councels requesting adjournment. Also objectively viewing it how many times judges did it vs Councel requesting the same
@badlysadlybad@mxtaverse This POV is half informed. There are muslims who got bail but evidences against bothem Umar and Imran are strong enough to cross threshold of Bail. Also read about their own councels flip flops in adjourning the bail hearing
@Satyaki_R You can not convince these leftists fools of what awaits for them....Only thing you can do is to keep voting BJP even when you are disgruntled with their inefficiencies
@GabbbarSingh And in an Islamist state ...there is no space for communism. They are treated like rabid dogs...Be it Pakistan, Bangladesh,Afghan, UAE or anywhere....Saffronf is the only thing that stands between their fate through hands of Islamists
