Learning from Wall Street and Bringing Nasdaq-Level Financial Infrastructure Onchain. The Long-Term Vision of InterLink.
In my previous post, I asked a simple question:
"Could @inter_link become the Nasdaq/NYSE of Web3?"
Today, I'd like to dive deeper into the vision and infrastructure that could make such a future possible.
Yesterday, we saw the release of a small update, v5.0.4, enabling users to purchase mobile top-up cards with crypto. At first glance, this may seem like a minor feature. In reality, it represents one of the first building blocks of a much larger payment infrastructure that could eventually support tokenized asset listings and on-chain capital markets.
Before you can build infrastructure for tokenized equities, you first need robust payment infrastructure.
So how is @inter_link approaching this?
Let's take a simple example: purchasing a SIM card with USDT. In the future, the same infrastructure could be used for airline tickets, hotel bookings, travel services, and much more.
The process begins with Wallet and Payment infrastructure integrated into ITLX and connected to blockchain networks. Next comes a real-time Payment Gateway that tracks every stage of the payment lifecycle. An Oracle and Pricing Engine then retrieves live USDT/USD exchange rates to determine the correct conversion value.
From there, the system connects to fiat settlement networks such as ACH, SEPA, SWIFT, and local banking rails. Fiat is settled and ultimately delivered to service providers such as airlines, hotels, telecom companies, ticketing platforms, and merchants.
This is the simplest form of a crypto-to-commerce infrastructure that enables digital assets to be used seamlessly in the real economy.
But what about building an on-chain stock exchange?

1. Settlement: From T+2 to Seconds
Nasdaq has built one of the most successful financial infrastructures in the world. Its settlement process prioritizes security and reliability through multiple layers of clearing and reconciliation across brokers, custodians, and financial institutions.
InterLink learns from this model while exploring how blockchain can streamline the process. Using Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BFT) consensus with four phases β Propose, Verify, Lock, and Finalize β transactions can reach final settlement within seconds.
This is not about replacing traditional finance. It is about leveraging modern technology to reduce complexity while preserving trust and security.
2. Clearinghouse: Bringing DTCC Logic On-Chain
For decades, institutions such as DTCC have played a vital role in maintaining ownership records, processing transfers, and supporting global capital markets.
InterLinkβs RWA Protocol takes inspiration from this proven framework. Acting as a Layer 2 clearing infrastructure, it explores how ownership records, settlements, and asset transfers can be managed through transparent and programmable smart contracts.
The underlying principles remain the same. Blockchain simply introduces a new way to implement them.
3. Order Books: AMMs as Always-On Liquidity
Traditional exchanges rely on market makers to provide continuous liquidity and efficient price discovery.
InterLink expands on this concept through protocol-level Automated Market Makers (AMMs) operating at Layer 2. Liquidity pools can remain available 24/7, enabling continuous access to markets while complementing existing liquidity models.
Rather than viewing this as a replacement for traditional market makers, it can be seen as an additional liquidity layer enabled by blockchain technology.
4. Asset Valuation: Connecting Real Revenue to Token Value
Public companies listed on Nasdaq are valued based on business performance, revenue growth, and long-term fundamentals. This principle remains one of the strongest foundations of modern capital markets.
InterLinkβs Transaction-Backed Digital Asset Protocol explores how real economic activity can be reflected more directly within digital asset ecosystems. As transaction volume and business activity grow, liquidity can deepen and market signals may respond more dynamically.
The goal is not to reinvent finance. The goal is to learn from proven systems such as Nasdaq and DTCC while using blockchain technology to build a more transparent, efficient, and accessible financial infrastructure for the future.
The bigger picture is that InterLink is not trying to become another Nasdaq, nor is it attempting to copy the NYSE. The vision is to study the most successful financial infrastructure ever built, learn from over a century of innovation on Wall Street, and combine those lessons with blockchain technology to create a new generation of programmable financial infrastructure.
Traditional markets spent decades perfecting systems for payments, settlement, clearing, liquidity, custody, and capital formation. Blockchain gives us the opportunity to reimagine parts of that infrastructure for a digital-first world.

So, we are finally preparing to enter the very first stage of Mainnet. As I shared half a year ago, InterLink has gradually transformed from a free mining app into a much larger ecosystem. And now, as we continue growing bigger, it also means there will naturally be more different opinions. Some people who own fewer tokens feel uncomfortable seeing others own more. Some people who are already verified complain that they still have not received their tokens yet. Some people who are not verified in Step 2 feel frustrated because they have not reached Step 3 yet. And some people who are still waiting for verification complain that the process is taking too long. Of course, everyone has their own reasons. Even I personally understand those feelings myself.
The original principle behind InterLink was actually built somewhat similarly to the model of the United States. (Of course, I am not talking about politics or negative issues related to Iran, Palestine, or North Korea.) There is a quote I really like and would like to share:

We do not share the same bloodline, and no ancestry alone is strong enough to keep us together.
But when people choose to live by a shared ideal, no force can rival them.
Blood can divide. Ideals can unite complete strangers.
A nation built only on blood will always limit itself.

And it is that choice which makes us impossible to defeat.
This is proven by the very name of the mighty United States of America.β
The reality is that every individual will always have their own personal problems. However, when people are united by one shared ideal, those problems become smaller because everyone chooses to build something bigger together.
So what is the ideal behind @inter_link?
It is to democratize ownership of digital assets within a payment and real-world asset ecosystem without barriers related to nationality, finance, or knowledge.
Even in a powerful country like the United States, there will always be complaints regarding taxes, housing prices, employment, and many other things. @inter_link is no different. There will always be complaints because nobody is perfect. However, what makes the United States remain powerful is its ability to continuously welcome talented people and brilliant scientists to help build the country.
@inter_link operates in a very similar way. It does not matter what your background is or where you come from. As long as you are talented enough, you are welcome here. And one day, there will eventually be people who replace me as chairman of @itl_fdn. Those people may be more talented, more energetic, and better than me, but they will still share the same vision of contributing to @itl_fdn.
Now, regarding the operational costs of the Foundation. @itl_fdn will operate differently from organizations like the Solana Foundation or Ethereum Foundation. We do not need to sell tokens to pay engineers or researchers. There will not be any Foundation-owned tokens sold on the market during the entire Private Mainnet phase. No OTC sales to treasury partners. No VC sales.
Even without selling tokens or relying on app advertisements, InterLink still has enough funding to continue operating for at least the next 5 years. Many people mistakenly believe advertisements generate enough revenue to cover expenses. In reality, the revenue from ads currently does not even cover one-fifth of InterLinkβs monthly operating costs because our conversion rate is actually quite low.
However, advertisements do serve one very important purpose: filtering bots. Google Adsense is one of the best anti-bot systems in the world.
We have been self-funded by the co-founders from the very beginning to ensure stable operations until today.
Currently, many people have reported to me that some former ambassadors, after being removed, have started spreading inaccurate information for personal purposes that may potentially harm users. Please be careful with individuals or organizations that continuously mention @Inter_link using vague community narratives because in reality these may simply be methods used to redirect users into risky or potentially fraudulent projects. I will not be responsible for any activity outside of @Inter_link because I have already issued this warning clearly.
Now, I would like to answer some common questions so everyone can better understand @inter_link.
1. Is @inter_link a scam project?
This is the question I hear the most. A scam project usually starts by asking people to invest money with the intention of taking those funds. Meanwhile, @inter_link is currently completely free, and there has never been any case where users lost money. I am proud to say that @inter_link is almost the only project that does not sell tokens or ask the community to invest in anything.
2. What is the vision of @inter_link? Is it realistic?
Initially, @inter_link focused on building a human network. However, as the ecosystem evolved, the vision expanded into building a payment and real-world asset ecosystem centered around people. The execution roadmap and development stages have already been explained very clearly in the @itl_fdn whitepaper.
In addition, @itl_fdn is proud to have one of the strongest blockchain engineering and research teams today, with nearly 100 engineers and researchers. This is more than enough to support serious long-term research and development.
3. Are the statements made by @Inter_link real?

Or information regarding treasury partners β all of these already have reposts on X, public interviews, or visible proof. If those companies do not use X, they have either already appeared publicly with us or people will eventually understand once Private Mainnet launches and they begin seeing continuous token buy activity.
InterLink is a legal company in the United States, and the Foundation is legally registered in Hong Kong. Any false information can create serious damage.
This does not even include the fact that all previous product development and technology updates were publicly shared in great detail from the beginning.
4. Is Verified ITLG intentionally being delayed?

Ensuring compliance and ecosystem security is absolutely necessary for long-term sustainability. The more compliant the ecosystem becomes, the greater the opportunities to work with billion-dollar banking and fintech companies in the future. That is one of the goals of @inter_link.
Verification priority is based on multiple metrics and ratios, especially ACS and HCS. The process will become much faster during Private Mainnet when validators begin participating.
Because the vision of @inter_link is to democratize digital asset ownership for 1 billion users, I want to make it clear that everyone will eventually have the opportunity to own InterLink tokens. There is no need to worry too much about being left behind.
5. What value will the mined tokens have?
My principle is simple: I never talk about price because doing so could be considered manipulation.
However, there are several important points:
The core team will not own tokens during Private Mainnet
Even after Open Mainnet, core team allocations will remain locked for years
The Foundation does not need to sell tokens to maintain operations
All tokens entering Private Mainnet must pass AML and compliance checks
The ecosystem requires ITL for gas fees, validator staking, business tokens, payments, and many other utilities
And I do not encourage speculation. The goal of launching the token in the early stages is to develop the ecosystem.
6. What technologies is InterLink building?
Besides technologies already publicly mentioned, InterLink is currently focusing on:
Quantum-resistant infrastructure at the highest NIST standards
A blockchain capable of scaling for payments and real-world assets with extremely low finality delay
A transaction-backed digital asset protocol, which is the first protocol in the world allowing businesses to tokenize using native tokens (InterLink Labs is currently filing patents for this technology)
Expanding hackathons and attracting developers to build dApps for ecosystem utility
Infrastructure for stablecoin payments and eventually InterLink token payments for flights, hotels, SIM cards, and more
