Major Development: For the first time, the Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh has revealed details of Pakistani losses during Operation Sindoor.

Speaking at the annual Air Marshal Katre Memorial Lecture in Bengaluru, the IAF Chief disclosed that:

•Five Pakistani fighter jets were shot down in air combat by the S-400 system.
•One AWACS/ELINT aircraft was destroyed in the air.
•An AWACS stationed in a hangar at Bholari was destroyed.
•F-16s undergoing maintenance on the ground were damaged or destroyed.

The PM package for Kashmiri Pandits targets 6,000 transit accommodations; 2,088 were done by July 2024, with 998 allotted. Estimating 110 flats completed monthly, total reaches ~2,968 by now, with ~1,418 allotted at a 47.8% rate. Exact figures aren’t public yet, and delays may affect this.
