I've seen a lot of reactions to Jamal Musiala's announcement over the last 16 hours.

First and foremost, the health of the player should be everyone's priority right now. Step away from the sport for a minute and realize there's a 23 year old kid who's having to deal with absence episodes daily on top of coming back from a horrific injury. Compassion and patience from the fans is vital.

Vincent Kompany and the Bayern Munich physios did not unilaterally make the decision for him to play. Musiala wanted to play, was cleared by his specialists and was cleared by Bayern Munich's specialists. Nobody is to blame.

Lastly, it takes courage to come out publicly and explain the situation. There's a lot of people parading around like a doctor after spending one minute on ChatGPT to diagnose the player. Musiala is recieving the best care in the world both externally and internally (at the club). If they are saying that it's easily treatable and will not derail his career, then listen to them.

We might have to accept that Jamal has a long road to a full recovery but this is Bayern Munich. We support our players. If your first thought is money, I would look within and reevaluate your priorities in life.
