SEASON IN REVIEW // As we look back on our return to the stage, we at City Ballet are filled with gratitude. This season, we explored new theaters, debuted new works, and connected with our community in the way we love most — through dance. Thank you to everyone who supported us.
Ok WOW 😱 #TheMaskedSinger really brought the energy this season… and we’re about to do it again with @DanceOnFox tonight, up next at 9/8c! I’m in front of my tv with my phone…are you? #LiveTweeting here we go! 💃
DEBUT // Don Quixote included several incredible debuts. From the ethereal Dryad Queen, to the sultry Mercedes & Espada, and the beloved couple Kitri & Basilio, these performances were made extra special as our artists took to the stage to dance these roles for the very 1st time.
DON QUIXOTE // City Ballet’s full-length “Don Quixote” returns to the stage May 7-8! Join us at the gorgeous California Center for the Arts for this sassy, humorous, and jubilant production.
DON QUIXOTE // Artistic Director Steven Wistrich reprises his role of Don Quixote in our upcoming production. A man obsessed with the chivalrous ideals touted in the books he has read, Don Quixote walks a fine line between reality and fiction.
SUMMER INTENSIVE // Join us for City Ballet’s 2022 Summer Intensive July 25 – Aug 12. Train with NYCB artists, as well as our own distinguished faculty, just steps away from the beach!
