Myanmar Training Camp case: Special NIA court at Rouse Avenue has granted permission to US National Matthew Aaron Vandyke and 6 Ukrainian nationals to travel to the USA and Ukraine to meet their families for one month, subject to certain conditions and formalities. The court directed the release of their passports to them. All 7 foreigners have been granted default bail by the court. They are likely to be released from Tihar Jail today.

Mohammed Faizan Hussain is a teacher at St. Aloysius School in Jabalpur.

He trapped a minor Hindu girl student at the school whom he was teaching & sexually started exploiting her. He told her that now he is her husband. He converted her. When the parents of the girl noticed that she has stopped offering puja at home, they became suspicious. Then the girl told that her school teacher has married her & converted her & have threatened that he will kill her & mummy papa if she revealed this to anyone. He had taken nude photos & videos of the girl.

Now how can any sane Hindu trust any Muslim with their children ? Those trusting, I will say are fool number ones. Those intelligent, should altogether avoid Akbar+Anthony's. Stop sending your children’s to missionary schools.

IIT-Bombay Faculty Forum issues a statement in solidarity with Professor Suryanarayana Doolla, saying he was merely performing his academic duties and following institute-approved procedures after detecting a student using a smartphone during an exam.

The Forum also expressed distress over the “tarnishing” of his reputation following the student’s death.

IIT Bombay student Sahil Wakode was using a mobile phone during an examination and, according to IIT Bombay, he had uploaded the question paper to ChatGPT to seek answers.

However, IIT Bombay says that no disciplinary action was initiated against him. The instructor and Head of Department spoke with Sahil, counselled him, and assured him that the incident would not adversely affect his academic career.

Later, he died by suicide.

Sahil's family has given a different account of the circumstances. His father has alleged that Sahil faced mental harassment and caste-based abuse. The complaint names Professor Suryanarayan Doolla, who was the invigilator during the examination, and alleges that Sahil was threatened and subjected to caste-related remarks.

IIT-Bombay has denied allegations that student Sahil Wakode was threatened with suspension or subjected to caste-based discrimination following his death on campus.

The IIT-Bombay SC/ST cell also said it had received no complaint from Sahil alleging caste-based discrimination.

Police have registered a case of alleged abetment of suicide against Professor Suryanarayan Doolla and invoked provisions of the SC/ST Act following a complaint by his parents.

The case has now been transferred to the Crime Branch for investigation.

It does not matter what the outcome of the investigation and verdict is, this case will now be drawn into the politics of caste, and some intellectuals will inevitably frame it primarily through the lens of casteism.

And they will not discuss the fact that getting admission into an IIT is one thing, but studying and surviving academically inside an IIT can be an entirely different challenge. You know, coping with the academic pressure, surviving the rigorous coursework, and appearing for and clearing examinations inside an IIT is not an easy task.

Very soon, this case will become a subject of national-level political debate, not about the academic pressure, but about caste, even before the investigation is complete or a judgment is delivered.

AI से नकल करते पकड़े गए छात्र को समझाना, परीक्षा के नियम बताना और चीटिंग रोकना,क्या ये भी अब किसी प्रोफेसर के लिए कानूनी जोखिम बन सकता है?
मामला SC/ST Act तक पहुंच गया है, इसलिए सवाल और बड़ा है....
क्या कानून का इस्तेमाल न्याय के लिए होगा या हर अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई को जातीय विवाद में बदलने के लिए?
नकल गलत है.
आत्महत्या बेहद दुखद है.
जातिगत भेदभाव भी गलत है.
लेकिन किसी की मौत को आधार बनाकर किसी व्यक्ति की आपराधिक जिम्मेदारी तय करने से पहले सबूत और निष्पक्ष जांच जरूरी है..
क्योंकि कानून सुरक्षा के लिए है,डर पैदा करने के लिए नहीं..

मिट्टी के उन घरों में रहने वाले लोग, जिनकी दीवारें बारिश में गल-गलकर बह जाती हैं, उन जातियों तक आरक्षण क्यों नहीं पहुँचता?

प्रश्न तो यह भी पूछा जाना चाहिए कि क्या उनमें से बहुत से लोग आज तक अपने आरक्षित वर्ग का सर्टिफिकेट तक बनवा पाए हैं?
