@JPEG_Powell Rebranding and attempting to build a metaverse is probably crucial to Facebooks survival and they’ll pour 10s of billions into making sure it works. I agree that it’s more important than ever to support NFT creators and a decentralized metaverse.
@JPEG_Powell I’ve seen some people on Twitter say this is Facebook’s “jump the shark” moment. But it’s clear this move has been years in the making with acquisitions of Oculus and their attempt at launching Libra. Zuckerberg won social media and now he wants to win the internet.
I wonder if they’ll try to trade mark the term “meta” and “metaverse” to stop other companies and projects from using it in their branding. Don’t even know if they can legally pull that off but that would suck
One of my favorite experiences so far in the NFT space. Such a unique approach to the community and hype building process. And with it being on-chain this has got to be an instant bluechip imo

@SkooJay Couldn’t agree more. I’ve only been in crypto for about a year but have seen some similar things play out. It’s fun to search for that 100x but always important to comeback to Eth, Btc, and long term holdings
