@catsareblessing Working I.T. I once had a customer who's cat would chase the mouse pointer when I tried to work on their home PC. He was relentless once he got started and was the only cat who I ever saw chase that mouse. Made the day more fun though. Would have expected him to attack hand
@LCCaptains Wife & I love the Captains games and bought a ticket package this year. Reasonable price and close parking is nice for seniors plus we meet someone nice at every game.
@Richard_Kadrey Love that story. Friend of mine grew up on Harvey's street and said he gave comics for Halloween. Never met him but my wife & I contributed to his memorial at the local library.
@TheAuthorGuy@nerd_cookies Just read the book and enjoyed it very much. I was raised to think like an engineer and love his stuff. Reminds me of Heinlein's Door Into Summer in the way it makes engineering seem sensible.
@Richard_Kadrey My Dad had that talk with me in 1972. I was shocked at first as Dad was Republican. He explained that he didn't want me to die in a sucker's war we weren't really trying to win. He explained the difference between Korea and Vietnam vs WWII.
@Richard_Kadrey I grew up with his juveniles and the future history series, and watched him get strange in the 70's which will happen if you hang out with Crowley people. Will always treasure glory road & the moon is a harsh mistress
@FrankConniff Still having spring weather here east of cleveland. Loved the "real" winter here this year. Lake Erie a short walk away and keeping things cool.
@Richard_Kadrey I wish Moorcock would finish his The Sanctuary of the White Friars series or at least write another book. The first book was amazing, and the 2nd mostly confusing. Hope he finishes another one.
@VintageRockN_85 Love it. Bought it when it came out. Just dug that one out and played it Saturday. Identifying more with the song Over the Hill these days.
