Today, we introduce the next generation of our confocal laser scanning microscopes: ZEISS LSM 990 and ZEISS LSM 910!
With the launch of the new LSM family, we are proud to provide you with our latest innovation in high-speed 3D imaging of living organisms: ZEISS Lightfield 4D.
Lightfield 4D expands your LSM with the ability to capture complete volumes – instantly, with a single snap. For the first time, capture the fastest movements within whole organisms at up to 80 volumes per second. Start your experiments immediately – on your confocal and without the need to adjust sample preparation.
The new Microscopy Copilot, your personal AI assistant, helps you to interactively discover new possibilities for your imaging experiments. Reduce training time and use the potential of your specific LSM system configuration.

Proud to announce the publication of an educational book on #AI for advanced image analysis by ZEISS! I wrote a significant portion and gathered insights from ZEISS experts on key topics.
Content designed for #microscopy users.

@SchnorrerL@JrmAvellaneda I will never forget the moment I discovered that flight muscles twitch during the pupal stage. I always thought they would remain inactive until the flies hatch and fly. Serendipitously, I had found a way to check flight muscle function at a stage when flies cannot even fly yet!
ZEISS arivis Pro 4.2 is available now! Couldn't be more excited about our customers now being able to use instance (object-based) segmentation models trained on ZEISS arivis Cloud for their image analysis in arivis Pro.
As science geeks we tend to focus mainly on technical aspects of products. But, as humans, we need to also acknowledge the importance of design. Love the object visualization tools on ZEISS arivis Cloud.

Ever struggled with segmenting cells becoming dimmer and dimmer over time in a time lapse movie? Try deep learning on arivis Cloud to get consistent quality results.
I typically refrain from sharing work-related content here but I couldn't resist sharing a fantastic segmentation result using our arivis AI model on the arivis Cloud. This image shows Al2O3 grains (credit to the Bernthaler group at Hochschule Aalen). #microscopy @zeiss_arivis
Please forward this short #survey to your network in #biotech and #pharma! We created this survey to learn from you about the top #assays used in your research. The goal is to understand how to best support your image analysis needs 🧑🔬
Hey Twitter, has anyone put together a list of publicly available microscopy datasets for training image segmentation in deep learning? #microscopy#deeplearning#imaging#datasets
How can machine learning help you to analyze your microscopy images?
Find out at the "Deep Learning for Microscopy Image Analysis" course at the @MBLScience in Woods Hole from Aug 21-Sep 5!
Applications are due 🚨 May 18 🚨

@Apeer_micro Thank you to Frank Vogler who provided the example images of HeLa cells imaged in phase contrast mode at the ZEISS Oberkochen Demo Center. Thank you to Marion Lang for training the instance segmentation model that was used to segment these cells on arivis AI (formerly APEER).
Check out our new tool for segmenting objects individually such as these cells.
Proud of our team and everybody involved in building this amazing #AI software!
