I attended a girls hangout last Sunday after being persuaded to go.

Most of the women there were married, and the conversation kept shifting in one direction,relationships, trust, money, independence, and protecting yourself in marriage.

At some point, it stopped feeling like casual fun and started feeling like a deeper mindset conversation.

It left me wondering how much of what people hear in spaces like this shapes how they later see relationships and marriage.

@IyelolaIge If I got another chance at life, I'd make sure I had options beyond Nigeria. I may still come back, but I wouldn't want my entire future tied to Nigeria .

@MoviePlusx I don't jump on trending movies or series. I take my time, look at the reviews and clues, and decide if it's worth my time. That's why I've rarely regretted watching a movie. I'm very selective when it comes to what I watch.

If DSS can track and arrest someone over a social media post from any location, why is it so difficult to track kidnappers and bandits who release videos, make calls, demand ransoms, and operate repeatedly?

That's the question ordinary Nigerians keep asking.
The contrast is what many people find troubling.
