@elioralux Sounds like a woman who should plan a weekend away and take her mother and mother-in-law with her. Let Dad see just how much 'nothing' happens when he has to do it all himself.

PUBLIC SAFETY NOTICE – FRAUD ALERT
The Brant County OPP is warning residents about a recent fraud that occurred in the Town of Paris.
On Thursday, February 26, 2026, police received a report that a resident had been contacted by a woman identifying herself as “Lucy Collines” from “Ontario Fraud Investigations.” The caller used the number 226‑780‑1493 and provided a fake badge number and file number. She claimed the victim’s bank accounts had been compromised and instructed her to provide her current debit and credit card PINs.
The caller then arranged for a man identifying himself as “Carl Oliver” to attend the victim’s residence and collect her cards.
The male who attended the residence was described as approximately five foot eight inches tall, obese, of Southeast Asian descent, wearing black pants, a black hoodie, and a blue surgical mask. He briefly showed a photo identification card labeled “Fraud Investigator.”
Shortly after the cards were handed over, a large amount of money was withdrawn in the Caledon region, from the victim’s account.
This is a scam. Police, banks, and legitimate agencies will never request your PINs, ask you to hand over your bank cards, or send someone to your home to collect them.
Residents are urged to remain cautious of unsolicited calls about financial matters. If you receive a call of this nature, hang up and contact your financial institution directly using the number on the back of your card.
Report any suspicious activity to police immediately.
Please share this message to help protect others in our community. This investigation is still on going.
We urge anyone with information to come forward. Your cooperation can aid in resolving this incident and ensuring community safety. Please contact the Brant County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 with any information or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or submit a tip online at https://t.co/pQrnMj7g9H.
