I grew up on ABC soaps. The only Asian character I remember growing up was Blair on OLTL, played by Mia Korf before she was recast white. Anytime soaps come up with my grandma, mom, and aunties, the popular refrain was "Remember when Blair was Asian?" A laugh. Then a sigh. 1/6
