"Don't compete to be better than anyone else. Compete to be a better version of you. Regardless of the outcome, you always win." @_pbaby_
Thank God I surround myself with wisdom regardless of age. ๐ฅฐ
My WIP:
"...Hiding in you was like putting on a superhero cape that continues to get caught on hooks, sucked into airplane engines, and set on fire by dynamite: I never get to my problems on time..."
What My Evolution Looks Like:
-Loving Celsius and drinking more water
-Keeping texts short and efficient
-Asking "Is this worth my energy?" before doing anything
-Choosing silence over using my precious words
-Reading to improve me
-Writing to entertain me
Morning Revelations:
-My husband is an integral part of my healing.
-Unicorns must make confetti to annoy humans.
-Healthy Addictions for Me: Photo editing, Lesson Planning, Alexa Karoake, Line Dance Creations
-Less exclamations points and explaining myself is really helping.
Curled up on a sofa in human knot with 3 blankets, a robe, and sweat trying to find a space to breathe and evaporate. Hope. Despair. Contentment. Rage. One consistency with me is music. I don't know or listen to everything, but I do listen to has a purpose. A place in me.
@prolificwriter5 sent this to me a couple of days ago. Been sitting on it b/c of how it hit home. I literally spent a Sunday listening to everything from Fall Out Boy to Emeli Sande to Avery Sunshine to Chicago. Singing at the top of lungs. Allowing tears to have their moment.
This is it: that moment when I have nothing and everything to do. When my brain is slowly trying to decide priorities, responsibilities, and wellness. This is a space I hate but I need to elevate. Still hate it tho.
Ways I Conserve Energy Now:
-No exclamation points in emails.
-Listen and sing with earbuds on in hallways.
-Move or cancel appointments if Im double or triple booked.
-Plan a virtual meeting before doing an in person on a specific day each week.
Progress. ๐ฅฐ
