When you make a mistake, go to God and ask for forgiveness, then move on. The first time you asked, God not only forgave you, but He doesn’t remember it anymore.
If you’ll stay in faith, keep being your best, you’re going to come into your “after this.” You’ll say, “After the layoff, I got a better position. After they walked away, I met someone better. After the storm, I came out stronger.”
God wants to show you things you haven’t seen before. He wants to reveal Himself in powerful ways. He is saying, “Lift your eyes to Me, and I will show you the great things I am doing in your life.”
If you want to know what you’re going to be like five years from now, listen to what you’re saying about yourself. Don’t use your words to describe the situation; use your words to change the situation.
God knows what’s in you; He knows what you’re capable of. He’s not going to let fear hold you back. He’s not going to let how you were raised, what you didn’t get, keep you from becoming who He created you to be.
God can make you invisible to the enemy. Plans that were sent to stop you, strategies designed to keep you from your destiny, cannot stand against our God.
“So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” -Deuteronomy 31:6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:5-6
Quit being discouraged over what didn’t work out. It feels like you failed, but that’s not the end of your story. God led you into the desert. You’re in a time of testing. There’s something bigger God has in your future.
You have to stir up your faith, stir up your praise. Start speaking victory over your life. Start thanking God that He’s fighting your battles. This, too, shall pass. Greater is coming.
No matter what you go through, because you’re a child of the Most High God, there’s going to be green grass in the desert. He’s going to give you strength that you can’t explain, courage that you didn’t know you had, favor that you didn’t see coming.
