The final episode of The Boys was amazing!!! 🔥🔥🔥
- Homelander goes on a 20-minute rampage, smashing satellites out of orbit and sending them crashing down across the world, effectively hurling China and Europe back to the Stone Age.
- The Boys set a trap for him back in Washington D.C., with Kimiko as their secret weapon.
- Sensing the ambush, Homelander crashes the entire White House down onto The Boys, critically wounding Kimiko and taking her out of the fight.
- With all hope seemingly lost, Homelander pulls Butcher from the rubble.
- He begins slowly breaking Butcher’s fingers while delivering a triumphant monologue.
- Soldier Boy suddenly snipes Homelander with a devastating energy blast.
- Queen Maeve appears, revealing she was the one who freed Soldier Boy. She still had clearance to the Vought building because Ashley never removed it.
- Realizing he’s been depowered, a terrified Homelander crawls and begs for his life.
- Butcher knocks Homelander out with a crowbar and raises it for the killing blow... only for Soldier Boy to step in and stop him.
- Soldier Boy looks at Homelander one last time and knows a better fate for his son.
- One year later: A cancer-stricken Butcher lies on his deathbed, surrounded by Hughie and the rest of the gang, along with his son.
- Hughie and Starlight are expecting their child soon, as an old Homelander poster passes them by.
- Cut to Homelander and he is shown on the floor of a maximum-security prison, enduring daily beatings as guards take turns violating him with nightsticks.
- Scene cuts to Soldier Boy, as he rides off into the sunset on his motorcycle, heading for Mexico with a grandma sitting on the back
Oh wait...
That was all a dream!
THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!!
What really happened is that The Boys writing staff suffered from a severe case of TDS. They doubled down every time critics called it out, and in the end, they delivered one of the worst possible series finales.
What we could've had...
@ElCinefago Si es tan buena porque no ha hecho nada Rian J o porque corrieron a traer a JJ Abraham y donde esta la película de Rey.... esta película fue lo peor para SW
Rory McIlroy is an investor in Whoop, wears one of the company's wristbands while playing, and allows the brand to share his data periodically.
Here are some of his Masters highlights:
• 24,000+ steps on Sunday
• 91,000+ steps during the tournament
Rory's heart rate spiked to 135 BPM during his tee shot on 18, dropped to 121 BPM during his approach shot, fell further to 105 BPM during his winning putt, and then jumped back up to 150 BPM during his celebration.
His resting heart rate for the week was 47-49 BPM.
Rory says he follows a strict routine during the PGA Tour season to ensure proper rest and recovery:
• No caffeine after 2 PM
• Last meal at least 2 hours before bed
• Magnesium and theanine for sleep quality
• Blue-light-blocking glasses in the evening
• Sauana or Epsom salt bath when available
• Cool room temperature for sleep
He follows the same three-hour routine before every round: arrive at the course → warm up in the gym → eat breakfast → hit balls on the range → putting green.
Rory says he believes his focus on longevity will help him play another 10+ years at a high level, and his physiological age on Whoop is now 1.5 years younger than his actual age.
Plus, it turned out to be a pretty good investment.
Rory initially invested in Whoop in 2020 when the company was valued at $1.2 billion. While we don't know exactly how much he invested, Whoop recently raised another round at a $10.1 billion valuation.
That's an 8.4x multiple in five years.
Not bad, not bad.
