Kinda funny how the State of Play was the only showcase I was able to catch live. I was working during SGF and I overslept for the Xbox Showcase. Now we just wait for the Nintendo Direct, but those are usually early in the morning so I should be able to catch that one.

I bought Mina the Hallower the day it came out but never got around to installing and playing it until now. Pretty cool so far, unlike Shovel Knight, I have huge nostalgia for the era of games this one is replicating so, points for that. It's kinda hard though so far.

I'm technically at work but I don't have anything to do for the rest of the day so I'll watch the State of Play. Normally I'd skip it since the most recent Playstation I have is a PS2, but just in case something I care about pops up.

My character learned Dimension Door in the play session of Baldy tonight. I now require the Raiden teleport sound mod, which doesn't exist. Genuinely might look into doing it myself.

I picked Baldy back up a few days ago and I am now officially farther in my second save than I was in my first. I think my build this time is significantly better than previous, so encounters aren't as hard. I do miss my +14 to Persuasion and Deception though.

Another small update, I checked my paystubs and my bank account, I haven't been paid for mileage at all, so I'm back to where I started yesterday. I might be able to pull some bullshit but now I'm less confident.

Minor follow up to the previous apartment hunt update: Since I'm within walking distance of the place, I took a few minutes to go drive around the neighborhood. Significantly nicer neighborhood than the last ones I've looked at. I'm satisfied with what I've seen.

I sent an email replying to the offer for the two bedroom apartment asking if my mileage pay would be counted, and they said it does, as long as it's verifiable. I'm pretty sure it's included in my paychecks as a separate thing, so I'm in the clear.

Should clarify that in my state, most places require your monthly income to be at least 3 times rent. The place I'm looking at only requires 2.5x rent, but like I said, I'm $30 short of it. Also discovered it was literally across the street from the store I was at for work today.
